Tony Moly Fresh Aqua Cooling 24 Eyes Stick

I work in front of the computer all day during weekdays, and it takes toll on my eyes. Whenever I don't get enough sleep, I easily tear up. I've even challenged my seatmate to a crying contest and won. It's that bad! Haha. I am in dire need of something that would soothe my eyes. I've been meaning to try Garnier's eye roll on, but I've been reading mixed reviews about it so I was hesitant to get it. If ever, I'd get the BB eye roll on (as concealer), but I wanted something I could also use at night. I went to Tony Moly to buy my friend a gift, and I got myself a little something just because I thought I needed it.

Tony Moly Fresh Aqua Cooling 24 Eyes Stick (P348.00)

You wouldn't really notice this product if you're not looking closely at everything in the store. This one is small, with a very simple and barely noticeable packaging. I know, Tony Moly isn't really big on cutesy designs. Etude House has a similar product like this, but it goes for P400.00 plus, so I opted for this one instead. The SA told me that this is a hit among their Korean customers, so I was (instantly) convinced. As if I needed any more convincing, as I was already decided on getting this one.

About the Product:
  • Contains camber which has a cooling effect like menthol when it is applied. It also prevents and treats dark circles by improving blood circulation around the eyes.
  • Good for all skin types.

Ingredients:

Pros:
  • It comes in a compact and convenient stick packaging. Even if the box is not sealed, there is an additional cover on top of the product to keep it fresh and clean.

  • The manufacturing product is indicated on the packaging. This gets erased though, so just take note of it (like what I just did now).

  • The packaging holds 9g of product, so it's pretty affordable considering its price.

  • The scent of this product is light and fresh. Somewhat like a mild menthol scent.
  • There's no need to place this product in the refrigerator, as it naturally packs on a cooling sensation. Notice the word play "Eyes Stick" - I think they also meant for it to be "Ice Stick" for the eyes. I'm amazed on how this feels so cool when it comes into contact with your skin!
  • Because of the cooling sensation, it can depuff swollen eyes and relax hot and tired eyes. Even with its minty feel, there's absolutely no stinging.
  • On days that I don't apply makeup, I love giving my eyes a mid-day treat by swiping this product all over my eye area.
  • It's not sticky or greasy, and it goes on clear and light. No trace of the product on the picture below.

Cons:
  • It does not reduce or lighten dark circles.
  • It's not that moisturizing.

Because dark circles aren't really my top eye concern, I like this product as it serves the purpose of my purchasing it. My eyes feel instantly refreshed whenever I use this one. But for those looking for dark circle zapping wonders, you can opt to skip this one.

What eye care product are you currently using? Your suggestions are most welcome!

Love,
Helen
