After the Chinese New Year festivities, it feels as if someone has turned off the air-conditioning system of Metro Manila. Days and nights aren't as cold anymore. Just today, it was reported that warmer temperature comes earlier than expected. >.<
I have oily skin, but because of the previously cold climate we've experienced, my face began to have dry patches all over! I've actually been very, very loyal to my Etude House Happy Teatime Cleansing Foam in Green Tea (wherein I'm currently on my 4th tube!), but one night, for some reason, I couldn't find it anywhere at home! Not at the restroom, not at the kitchen...
And so, I decided to finally try Tony Moly Clean Dew Olive Seed Foam Cleanser, which has been sitting in my stash for months! I was not too keen on using this at first since it was really made for dry skin, but I figured it was also the right time to put this facial wash to test.

The brilliant cleansing care system bring strong vital power of fresh 3 seeds with dewy water
First of all, don't be scared of the looong ingredients list. If you take time to read it, you'll see that this facial wash is choc-full of natural plant and fruit extracts. It still has parabens, but since you just wash this off in minutes I figure it won't really be much of a health hazard. Also, parfum (or fragrance) is the last ingredient of the list, which means it's kept to a minimum.
The manufacturing date is embossed on the crimp of the tube, a feature I appreciate. This one's good for a year from the time you first use it.
The foam cleanser has a soft and creamy texture, and it does foam up to a milky lather but not too abundantly or bubbly (hence, it's not drying). After washing this off, my skin feels clean, soft, and supple. I've been using this facial wash for weeks, and my skin seems more balanced now. The dry flaky parts have been minimized, but my skin's not oilier too (even if it has this moisturizing formula that's targeted for dry skin). Also, I'm liking the very subtle green scent - it adds to the entire gentle cleansing experience. With this, I didn't experience any breakouts or allergic reactions, so we're good!

They've also launched newer versions in new packaging from the same range: Acerola, Lemon, Red Grapefruit, Aloe, and Blueberry. (These ones look so colorful - like a rainbow!)
I feel quite comforted with the fact that even if my go-to facial wash does get discontinued, I have other options to try. Gotta love Korean skincare products! :3
