Etude House launched the &Rose Collection (inspired by the fairy tale Sleeping Beauty) last Fall 2013. They seem to never run out of creative ideas for makeup! ^_^
Since today is Valentine's Day, I'm painting my lips so that they look as red as roses. This lip tint from Etude House is just the perfect product for that!
Etude House Rosy Tint Lips in 1 (Before Blossom)
This velvet type Tint Lips comes with a soft delicate texture and rich color to express lips of a rosy petal.
The Rosy Tint Lips is actually a very versatile product. You can use it to create a lip gradation effect, go full color (like lipstick), or use it as a cheek tint!
The color of the tube is the same as the shade of the tint inside.
Mine is shade 1 - Before Blossom.
The manufacturing date is printed on the box.
The applicator is sponge-type, which I am not fond of since it's not hygienic. You can't clean or replace it.
A little goes a long way with this product since it's so pigmented.

You can apply this on the lips in 2 ways: Delicate Petal Lip Gradation and Rose in Full Bloom Lip Cover.
Swatch: Etude House Rosy Tint Lips in 1 (Before Blossom)
Since I prefer full-on color on my lips, I prefer the second method. With just a little amount of tint, you can achieve this effect.
Pros:
- It comes in a cute box, which I won't be throwing out for a long, long time.
- The manufacturing date is printed on the box.
- It comes in 8 shades.
- The tint is versatile, you can use it on the lips and cheeks.
- For the lips, the sponge tip applicator is handy to create the gradation effect.
- It has a velvety matte texture that makes your lips feel just like a rose petal! ♥
- Despite its matte texture, it doesn't make my lips chap or crack.
- The tint is very pigmented; a little goes a long way!
Cons:
- The packaging - hard to squeeze tube and unhygienic sponge tip applicator.
- The tint easily transfers to surfaces.
- While it doesn't make my lips crack, but it's not moisturizing either.
Neutral:
- It has a subtle rose scent.
Tips:
- Exfoliate the lips first before applying the product.
- For extra dry lips that are prone to chapping, apply lip balm first, blot it off, then apply the tint.

I'm also liking Tea Rose (a pretty everyday nude lippie) and After Blossom (the most pigmented one among the bunch). How about you, which shade(s) do you like? :D
Like Etude House Philippines on Facebook for more information on their products. ♥
Love,
Helen
This looks really good on your lips Helen! Too bad about the applicator otherwise this would be a perfect 5 product.
ReplyDeleteAnd the tube, it's really quite hard to squeeze. I love the shade though. :) Happy Valentine's Day! ♥
DeleteHappy Valentines Day to you too! <3
Deletesayang maganda sana kasi parang natural na pigmented yung lips plus matte pa but the hard to squeeze tube is a hassle. i like the 3 and 4 na shade :D
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentines too Helen!
Cute rin nga yung 3 and 4! :) Enjoy the rest of the day, Arya! ♥

Happy Vday too! Congrats on your job offer! ♥
DeleteI like Tea Rose din! I want to try the ombre trend, which shade would you recommend for me? :)
ReplyDeleteDi ko magawa yung ombre! Parang bagay sayo yung English Garden. Fresh and pretty lang ang peg. :)
DeleteI agree, I'd probably get Tea Rose when my Snoe Roasted Toasted Rouge Deluxe runs out. Similar ba siya sa Nyx Lip Cream?
ReplyDeleteDi na naubos yung Snoe Rouge Deluxe ko, sister ko na gumagamit. Haha! :D Di ko sure eh, I've never tried the one from NYX kasi.
DeleteI was eyeing this particular item in Etude House last Saturday! I should have bought it. Though I'm not so sure if it will look nice on someone with morena skin? Hehe.
ReplyDeleteI think morenas can rock these lippies too. Better swatch the shades in store first to find your match. :)
