When it comes to blush, is there a color/shade you always reach out for?
For me, it's the no-nonsense pink blush. My skin is fair, hence this shade looks most natural on me. Since I have oily skin, my personal preference is powder blush, since it's easy to apply and it reduces that shiny appearance.
I've reviewed 3 items from The Body Shop's All In One Make-up Range:
Now, it's time to complete my review of this makeup range by finishing off The Body Shop All-In-One Blusher.
The Body Shop All-In-One Blusher in 05 Bubblegum (P695.00)
About the product:
- Made in Italy
- 4g
- Shelf life: 24 months
Ingredients:
A noteworthy thing about this blush is that it's makeup and skincare in one. It contains Vitamin E and marula oil to moisturize the skin, even in powder form! I spot in the ingredient list even more skin-loving ingredients such as sualane and shea butter.
Shades:
- 01 Macaron
- 02 Ginger
- 03 Flushed
- 04 Marshmallow
- 05 Bubblegum
- 06 Guava
The All-In-One Blusher comes in 6 shades, ranging from matte to shimmery.
The All-In-One Blusher comes in a simple plastic packaging with a clear, dome-shaped lid, so you can easily see the shade inside. Though not the most durable-looking, mine hasn't cracked yet even with months of everyday use.
The shade I have is 05 Bubblegum, which is a cool-toned, matte pink blush. It might look mild and "harmless" in the pan, but it is pigmented! I love it's super fine, smooth, and silky texture, probably due to the oil content inside.
Swatches:
A little goes a long way with this pigmented blush. I love the fact that it has no shimmers in this shade.
Pros:
- Comes in 6 shades
- Lightweight, compact packaging
- Pigmented
- Beautiful color payoff
- Powder is super fine and velvety-smooth to touch
- Blends easily, buildable
- Lasts for about half day on my oily skin, more when I use a long-wearing base under it
- No scent
- No breakouts
- Can work for all skin types (from dry to oily)
Cons:
- Pricey if not on sale
- Packaging doesn't look very durable
Price: P695.00/4g
Would I repurchase? Yes, in other shades but only if it's on sale! ;)
Available in all The Body Shop stores nationwide.

DeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteI know it might be an out of topic qiestion, but how can I avail of the LYB CARD? The last time I was there, I totally forgot about it. Thanks!
TBS Philippines has stopped the LYB program. Last day to claim points is December 2, 2014.
