Zalora Haul: Belo & Maybelline

When I was still working the the office, all I wanted to do come 5PM was to just go home. Whenever I had to buy something, online shopping + COD were such good friends to me. I've shopped at Zalora before but I admit it wasn't always smooth-sailing. I had the wrong shoe size delivered to me twice, but the worst was a pair of mismatched stud earrings. I must be the Queen of Returns, but this time around, they didn't fail me!

I checked out my order around 5PM (of March 21) and received my orders 11AM the next day (March 22). This is the first time I've ever experience online shopping with less than 24 hours delivery time, they probably rushed the deliveries because of Holy Week.

Here are the items I got:

Belo SunExpert Sunbrella with UPF50 (P450)

I bought this for my Mom. She uses an umbrella everyday when she fetches my sister from school. I noticed she got darker because of that even with sunblock on. This could probably help, and it looks so cute! I want one too but it's huge, so I'll just stick to my foldable one for now.

BeloBaby Hair and Body Wash (P219.75)

Being a fan of Belo products, and being forever in search of a good sulfate-free shampoo, I got excited with this one. I'll transfer this to a smaller container and bring it with me to travels. No need to bring different bottles of hair and body wash! Also, since it's made for babies, it's bound to be gentle and good for my skin.

It's been too long since I bought anything from Maybelline. This used to be my favorite brand way back in college (probably because this was the only makeup I could afford). It's always nice to go back to an old favorite. I got the Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte in Vibrant Violet on sale (P299 -> P199) after hesitating for weeks. I read Michelle's review and messaged her on Facebook about this particular shade. I even swatched it in the mall. Finally, I decided to go for it and I'm happy I did! :D (Review soon!) My other purchase was Maybelline Hyper Sharp Wings in Black (P329 -> P164.50), which is a liquid eyeliner pen. I want to master my eyeliner application, so I bought an affordable one to practice with.

Happy with this haul! :D Any hauls you'd like to share?

Love,
Helen

Haul: Zalora Philippines

I've been to Zalora.com.ph so many times I've lost count. I find it so fun to window shop at the comforts of my own home! Now, I've decided to try it out for myself to see what the hype about the site was all about.

I'll share a secret with you: I don't own a single credit card. A bank sent me one before, but I had it cancelled because I feel that I have no need for it. Hence, I am not really a fan of online shopping, since I don't have a credit card number and I have to pay thru bank deposit most of the time, which makes things inconvenient. Until I met Zalora, everything changed. Get this: they accept COD payment! :D

I placed my order late at night on November 6 (Wednesday), and received my order on the morning of November 9 (Saturday). It was still within the 1-3 working days delivery period, so I'm good with that. (Some of the blogs I read mentioned that they got next day delivery. Why does that never happen to me? Haha!)

When you shop at Zalora, you get these amazing benefits that other online shopping sites don't have:
  • Cash on delivery
  • Free shipping available
  • 30 days return
  • Secured checkout

I even got a P150.00 off discount voucher with a P2,000.00 minimum spend on my next purchase within the month!

Now, on to the unboxing of my haul! Each item came in their own packaging, which was really nice!

Ichigo Eveta (P920.00)

My top pick and probably my favorite item in this haul is this pretty pair of studded flats from Ichigo. This comes in 3 colors: taupe, sky blue, and navy blue. (I wish it also came in black or beige. I'd definitely hoard!) I chose navy blue because it would go very well with my work clothes. I'm glad that this pair is comfy and size 7 is a perfect fit for me.

Effegi Red Wallet (P100.00)

Whenever I shop, I always have to buy a little something for my family. I got this red coin purse from Effegi for my Mom. (Red is her favorite color!) I also like that this one came in a nice paper bag, perfect to give as gifts!

Last but not least are some pampering goodies from Oryspa. I love the care they took to package these items to make sure it doesn't get damaged or spill in transit. Look, it was covered in bubble wrap, and each product has a separate plastic wrap!

Oryspa Chili Oil (P245.00) & Rice Bran Lulur Whitening Scrub (P235.00)

I got a bottle of Chili Oil for my Grandma, just because I thought this would be a nice product for her to try for her muscle and joint pains. As for the scrub, I was choosing between the Rice Bran Champorado or the Rice Bran Lulur Whitening variant, but my vanity chose the Lulur one because of its spa-ish scent and skin whitening benefits.

So that was my first Zalora haul, and I am a happy and satisfied customer! I'm pretty sure there will be a next time. And as of today, I've convinced my sister to buy the Mel flats she was eyeing at the mall from Zalora instead. Everyone who signs up for their newsletter gets a P250 gift voucher for their first purchase at Zalora.com.ph! :D

Love,
Helen

Zalora x Rebecca Minkoff Giveaway

I've always dreamed of owning a designer bag, but the kuripot side of me stops me from taking the plunge. Are there anyone else out there feeling the same way? :D

Well, one very lucky ZALORA shopper will dream no more, as ZALORA Philippines (in partnership with Rebecca Minkoff) is giving away one Mini MAC (Morning After Clutch worth P8,650.00) in purple to a lucky customer who purchases on ZALORA using this code: REBECCA.

Trivia: In 2005, the "Morning After Bag" launched Rebecca's career as a handbag designer.

To get the chance to own this iconic bag, just shop any women's product worth P1,000.00 and above, and enter the code REBECCA in the coupon code box upon checkout to qualify. Each customer is entitled to 10 chances to win this cute clutch!

So, you're wondering who else has the Mini MAC?

Oh, just Hollywood celebrities such as Nina Dobrev, Emannuele Chirqui, and Agyness Deyn! At least your future Mini MAC is purple, so it's totally okay to bump into them even when using the same bag. ;)

Shop at ZALORA now at www.zalora.com.ph. For more of Rebecca Minkoff, check out: http://www.zalora.com.ph/rebecca-minkoff/. Promo period is from August 27 to August 31, 2013, so don't miss out. You all have 3 days and a few hours left to join - make the most out of it! :)

Helen
