I've shared with you the best-kept secret for long hair, and now, I'll be reviewing 2 products from the Kerastase Cristalliste range.
Kerastase Cristalliste Luminous Perfecting Shampoo and Conditioner
Kerastase Cristalliste Luminous Perfecting Shampoo (P1,200.00/250ml)
For thick hair
Ingredients:
Pros:
- Kerastase Cristalliste Shampoo has an ultra-light formula that is almost similar to baby shampoo.
- It does not lather too much, but it does leave my hair feeling nice and clean afterwards.
- It manages to remove oil buildup and product residue from my hair without drying it out.
- It has two variants, one for fine hair and another one for thick hair to adapt to the needs of different hair types.
- It's free from silicones, parabens, or colorants.
- My long hair feels lighter, bouncier, and smoother to touch.
- My favorite effect from this shampoo is that it makes my hair look extra shiny. The top part of my hair is straight, while the bottom part is wavy (and it is naturally like that). I haven't seen my hair shine with life for the longest time, but after using this product for weeks, The straight top part of my hair reflects light better now, which is amazing. Meaning, if you had straight hair all over, your hair will be shiny from root to tip!
Cons:
- It's not sulfate-free.
- It's expensive.
Kerastase Cristalliste Luminous Perfecting Conditioner (P1,693.00/200ml)
For dry lengths or ends
Ingredients:
Pros:
- It has a light, gel-cream texture that easily spreads on your hair.
- This one has zero greasy or oily feel, and does not leave any residue behind.
- It's easy to rinse off.
- It is suitable for both fine or thick long hair.
- Does not make my hair feel heavy.
Cons:
- Moisturizing power is not enough for dry hair.
- It's expensive.
Will I repurchase? Shampoo, yes. Conditioner, no.
Prices: Shampoo, P1,200.00/250ml; Conditioner, P1,693.00/200ml
Exclusively available in salons that carry L'Oreal Professionel/Kerastase products.
It's my first time to try such a shampoo that feels like baby shampoo yet works perfectly for adult (read: oily scalp, chemically-treated hair), and I'm liking the Kerastase Cristalliste Luminous Perfecting Shampoo very much. I feel like it adds shimmer and shine to my hair. As for the conditioner, I know I can find less pricey ones (such as Snoe or Kiehl's) that could work even better, so that I won't be repurchasing.

I wish I could try something like this too. I would probably focus on hair care now. Haha!
ReplyDeleteLet's all spoil our hair, shall we? ;)
DeleteI'm on the hunt for a good clarifying shampoo after Neautrogena clarifying shampoo got pulled out from the shelves. Would this Keratase shampoo work as a clarifying shampoo seeing you mention about removing build up and having shiny hair. It sounds promising. Not the conditioner though.
ReplyDeleteJust in case I do not check back during my hectic work week, you could drop me a note on my blog and we would definitely connect back from there. =) Enjoy the last of the weekend.
Hello Jo! I think this one is not as potent as a real clarifying shampoo, but it does have that baby shampoo consistency. Definitely no buildup here. :)
DeleteThe color of the package looks so cute =) Maybe I can try this too !
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I want to invite to attend my first giveaway! Giveaway Here
I'm loving the color pink too! It's pretty! :D

DeleteThank you for the review. Haven't looked at this one before and am pleasantly surprised both products come without paragons unlike some other Kerastase shampoos/conditioners. x
