I
may be the laziest person you'll meet when it comes to skincare, but
there's this one product that I have to use every night before I sleep. I
remember during my high school days when I had so many pimples that I
went to the dermatologist for a solution to my skin problem. I didn't
have my face pricked because I was scared, but instead she recommended
me stuff that can't be bought anywhere else but in her clinic. (It was
her unbranded glycolic wash and clindamycin solution.) Sometimes I feel
that the stuff the dermatologist sells me are too pricey for what
they're really worth. Little did I know that what I really needed was a
good cleanser AND a great toner. This one is an example of a great
toner.
Snoe Star Night Star Bright Night Perfecting Toner
I
cleanse my face with a makeup remover and facial wash at the end of
every day, but wonder why I still get pimples every so often. It was
then I decided to try out this toner from Snoe. I was actually attracted
to the packaging which was why I bought it in the first place, because
it reminds me of Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate, although that
one is a serum and this one is a toner. Trust me when I say that what's
inside is even better that what you see on the outside.
About the product:
This product claims to be anti-aging, whitening, anti-acne, exfoliating, pore refining, and a spot remover.
Ingredients:
It has salicylic acid that prevents and treats breakouts. When I feel a bump on my face, I immediately get a cotton ball and dab away on the spot. It almost always shrinks the bump in no time, and the pimple ends up not forming. It's amazing! It also has vitamin C, mulberry leaf extract, acai berry, vitamin B3, and lavender extract. Pretty good stuff for the skin.
I
use this every night after using my makeup remover and facial wash.
When I think that I have already clean skin, I use this toner and think
otherwise. The cotton ball I used turns into a dirty shade of yellow
which meant that my skin still has remnants of skin-clogging particles
that can cause breakouts. After I started using this toner, I
experienced less pimples and clearer, smoother complexion.
The
only con is the scent, it can be a bit strong for some and a bit
alcohol-y, but this one does not contain any alcohol so it's less drying
than astringents. Also, my first bottle spills/leaks when it is tilted.
I'm not sure if that's an isolated case.
I like this toner
so much that I bought a backup even if mine bottle is still half-full,
just because I don't want to risk it being out of stock when I finish up
my bottle. (The bottle is small, and I don't know how much ml is in it
because it's not indicated on the packaging.)
Snoe Star Night Star Bright Night Perfecting Toner is priced at P179.00 per bottle. I recommend this for oily skin. :)

Thanks, Krizia! This one is my favorite toner (as of the moment).
DeleteI followed you back! :)
Hi again Ms. Helen! Got this baby and I'm on my way doing its review. Hope you won't mind that I linked your blog review to mine. :)
DeleteSure, Krizia! Looking forward to reading your review! :)
DeleteHi ms.Helen! Been using this for 3 nights already, and my face is peeling obviously. I also get itchy on some parts of my face and few acne flare-ups. Did you experience the same thing?
ReplyDeleteOh no, I didn't experience any of those. The only thing that I noticed during my first few days of using is that the scent was really strong (like alcohol), but it doesn't contain alcohol and it didn't sting my face. I didn't experience peeling and itch with this. You might be allergic to a certain ingredient in the toner.
DeleteLooks promising and it's affordable as well. I wonder if it can make the face glowing? If it does I'll try this one out. ^^,
ReplyDeleteI haven't really noticed! Haha! I buy this because it keeps pimples away, but my skin looks fine when I wake up. :)
DeleteHi, ok ba to use Snoe's argan oil after this? Safe ba sya for breastfeeding moms? :)
ReplyDeleteHi! I'm not sure if breastfeeding moms can use this, and I personally haven't tried Snoe's argan oil. You may ask Snoe at their FB page instead: https://www.facebook.com/SnoeBeauty
DeleteCan you recommend a good facial wash by Snoe? Or any other brand?
ReplyDeleteYou can try Snoe EmuCleanse. I am personally using Etude House Happy Tea Time Cleansing Foam in Green Tea.
Deletethank you so much for the review :)
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! :D
