How was Quezon City day for you guys? My sister was happy because she had a long weekend, and there was no traffic DAW. While poor ol' me traveled 3 hours just to get home from Fort. (I hate that place. Haha! It would take me a LOT to make me go there - such as good friends I met for lunch a while ago and an interesting NEW beauty lab I'll be reviewing tomorrow.) Led by the Bureau of Foreign Trade and in partnership with the Taiwanese government, the Taiwan Excellence Experiencing Zone is an interactive product showcase featuring brands that bear the Taiwan Excellence seal, which assures customers of the products’ superior quality.

Over 140 products from 54 Taiwan Excellence-accredited brands will be offered at the Experiencing Zone. The wide range of products covers needs for Information and Communications Technology, Home and Living, and Sports and Leisure. This includes STRIDA’s durable bicycles designed for convenient and reliable urban transport, SH-RD’s protein cream that avoids hair damage and promises softer and shinier hair, and FECA’s storage products that help in maximizing the home space.

Taiwan Excellence: Increasing Taiwanese Brands' Awareness in the Philippines

Asus is one of my favorite tech brands, and it's just now that I found out that it's from Taiwan! I've never been to the country, but whenever I have friends who go there, they would always rave about the food. I think I'll include Taiwan on my list of countries to visit.

Today's post is business talk! Because if you're gonna be beautiful, make sure to feed your brain as well! :D

Taiwan is very close to the Philippines in terms of location and also with trade relations. It's one of our country's important trading partners. Taiwan is the 4th top import country (with 5.2 billion USD imports) and the 9th top export country (with 2.2 billion USD exports) in the world (based on the 2015 Philippine Statistics Authority data). In line with this, Taiwan Excellence campaign is again rolling out for the third year in the Philippines to further strengthen trading ties between the two countries. This is organized by Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT) of Taiwan government and implemented by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA).

Taiwan Excellence is the symbol of superiority of products from Taiwan. They will have more exciting and more comprehensive activities in 2016, mostly through experiential activities. This lets Filipino consumers experience how they can enhance their lives and create a truly “Excellent Lifestyle.” This year, Taiwan Excellence will introduce its latest product line-up, all of which capture Taiwan brands’ features that have gained global recognition for their distinct quality and sheer excellence. Filipinos are known to be music lovers and good karaoke belters. With the technology we have today, it's so easy to share your talent to the world (and who knows, it might make it to Ellen one day).

This one's for aspiring singers and long-time performers alike. (I'm liking this part, since I don't like contest to be based purely on "Likes" or votes. There has to be a criteria.)
