Too Cool For School Cool Girl's Make-up Workshop

Last weekend, I visited the Dinoplatz Pop-up Store at SM North EDSA The Block for a Cool Girl's Make-up Workshop hosted by Korean beauty brand Too Cool For School.

I always look forward to attending make-up workshops since I love learning new make-up tricks and trying out new products!

Too Cool For School has an actual store in the main building, and this cute Dinoplatz pop-up store will be at The Block until June 4, 2014.

The workshop was hosted by Raymond Isais, Training Manager and Chief Make-up Artist of Too Cool For School Philippines.

Dinoplatz Cinema City (P1,279.00)

The star of the workshop was Too Cool For School's latest product, Dinoplatz Cinema City, their new “Lights, Camera & Action” CC Cream!

Aside from the cute Dinoplatz packaging, the unique feature about this CC cream is the multifunction ball tip - with either concealer, blush, or highlighter.

Swatches:

The CC cream has a light, watery texture that blends well into the skin. The CC cream is not meant to replace the BB cream as it is more of a skincare product (with less coverage), but if you have good skin then you can get away with wearing this alone. This CC cream has SPF30 PA+++ to protect your face from the sun's damaging rays.

Concealer | Blush | Highlighter

  • The concealer comes in a yellow tone which goes well with most skin tones. If your skin needs coverage, then this variant is for you.
  • The peachy pink blush is a universally flattering shade. If your skin is on the pale side, then you'll like this as it livens up the face instantly.
  • The highlighter comes in a subtle pinkish tone which brightens up the skin.

Raymond used the CC cream on the entire face of the workshop model.

I listened intently as he gave tips on how to add depth to monolids - something I've always wanted to learn.

He used Dinoplatz High-Line in Charcoal to define the eyes even more. This is a creamy gel liner that comes in a pencil form.

Done with the makeover! Her look is so fresh and natural, and it suits her well.

Everyone who attended the workshop got to take home a certificate plus product samples! More on that later. ;)

My favorite photo from the workshop was a selfie by the Dinoplatz wall! :D #tcfsphwhipit

Hello, Raymond! Our make-up artist has nice skin and flawless make-up application.

Let's check out some more products from the Dinoplatz range!

Dinoplatz Pearl Bay Invasion (P1,099.00)
in #1 Mother of Pearl and #2 Baby Pink Clam

This one works as a liquid highlighter or as a volumer you can mix with a BB cream. You can also use this alone to add glow to the face.

Dinoplatz Loose & Silly SPF 27 (P1,245.00)
in #1 Definition (Matte) and #2 Illusion (Pearl)

To keep make-up looking fresh all day, blot your face first with oil absorbing sheets, then touch up with a translucent powder such as this. It comes in 2 finishes, matte and shimmery.

Dinoplatz Lip Balm (P665.00)

I'm not too excited by the pot packaging (since I'm biased to sticks), but I'm attracted to the Spilled Wine shade.

Everyone who attended the make-up workshop received these. I'm excited to try the new CC cream samples!

I also got an amazing press kit from Too Cool For School.

I LOVE this Dinoplatz 8GB Card USB Flash Drive. It's the cutest flash drive I own as of the moment. :D

Too Cool For School Gel Mist is a welcome addition to my growing face mist stash. Face mists are perfect for the Philippines' hot and humid weather since it refreshes the face instantly. This one's unique since it comes in a gel form, but it sprays like a liquid.

More samples! I tend to hoard cute samples since they're so travel-friendly! :D

Thank you, Too Cool For School for the awesome workshop and freebies! Like Too Cool For School - Philippines on Facebook for more information. Don't forget to check out the Dinoplatz pop-up store, last day tomorrow! ;)

Love,
Helen
