Scent Swatch Minis Perfume Discovery Set for Women

BF gifted this to me and at first glance I thought it was a chocolate bar.  

 

It's Scent Swatch Minis Perfume Discovery Set for Women, which contains the brand's best selling fragrances in one tiny box. I think it's too cute! BF knows I never finish any of my perfumes so this is perfect for me. Each box contains 10 pieces of 3ml perfume bottles. I previously owned 4 out of the 10 scents in this kit, and I can say that these do smell so close to the real thing. I'm so happy!

Pros:

Great value for money (eau de parfum, with high fragrance concentration)

Smells like the real thing

No strong alcohol scent (yung parang cheap cologne na masakit sa ilong)

Lasting power depends on the variant, the stronger scents last longer than the lighter ones

Since it's so affordable, hindi masakit sa wallet mag reapply

Aside from the Discovery Kits, they also come in 30ml and 60ml bottles

Super nice gift idea Your kikay friends will love this! (I should know. Haha)

 

Cons:

No sprayer, you have to dispense then dab (don't rub your fragrance on your wrists, it destroys the top notes)

One bottle (English pear) leaked and 2/3 of its contents were left (sayang, bango pa naman). It's no longer leaking, so baka hindi na close tightly bago mapack.

 

The leak could be an isolated case, because I have bought several perfumes from them before (as gifts) and the bottles were all intact.

My Silkygirl Face + Review 🖤

Sharing with you a rare FOTD, because I had to shoot for a video for work. I used Silkygirl cosmetics to achieve this look. 😎

Gen Matte Cushion Foundation SPF 25/PA++ in 01 Light

This is my WFH meeting essential that had helped me achieve the "Laging Handa" Award during our year end town hall. This one's too easy to use, so it just takes me 10 minutes to look presentable before meetings. No messy hands and fingers because the cushion tip applicator does the job in blending the foundation seamlessly. It's like Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer on steroids. LOL! 01 Light is my shade match. This foundation has a luminous matte finish; I didn't use any highlighter here but it gives off a nice glow. I also didn't use a separate concealer as this foundation has medium coverage. I didn't top it off with powder for this photo, but when I go out, I apply powder over it to make it last longer.

Perfect Stay 20hr Eyeliner in 01 Blackest Black

It's a waterproof retractable eyeliner with built in sharpener. It promises 20hr wear but still smudges on my waterline and hooded eyelids. My sister who doesn't have hooded eyelids loves this though and has repurchased several times.

 

Cool Chic Blush Stick in 02 Pink

Love this cheek tint in stick form. It has a cooling sensation when it hits your cheeks.

 

MLBB Lip Tint in 01 Autumn (topped with gloss)

One of my fave shades from the MLBB line These lip tints are so pigmented, and they set evenly on the lips.

Swatches & Review: Silkygirl Cool Chic Blush Stick

My high school self would have been so thrilled had this existed years ago - a blush stick with a tint formula! ❤️

 

Silkygirl Cool Chic Blush Stick is water-based and leaves a cooling sensation on the cheeks upon application. Just fresh, nothing too minty here. It is enriched with aloe vera extract and is free from parabens and animal testing.

 

 

Don't be intimidated by the bright swatches, they are totally blendable, wearable, and long-wearing. Both shades are actually pinks with either warm (01 Peach) or cool (02 Pink) tone.

• 01 Peach - a bright pink coral
• 02 Pink - a bright rosy pink

Swatches & Review: Silkygirl MLBB Lip Tint

Sharing another Silkygirl review! I'll never get tired of writing about this underrated brand. 😊 The MLBB Lip Tints are something I truly enjoy using during WFH. It's so easy to use, and for a tint, the color payoff is SO EVEN! I am not used to this, as I am used to tints being stubborn and looking darker on the inner parts of my lips. This one is really something different. 💖

Pros:

🌹 This water-based lip tint feels weightless on the lips.

🌹 It's enriched with grape juice and aloe vera extracts for moisturized lips. True enough, this has never dried my lips.

🌹 The tints are so pigmented! 💯

🌹 They apply evenly and do not settle on the inner parts of the lips. (Tip: Do not remove/wipe off product from the doe foot applicator when you take out the wand, this amount is just right if you want an even color payoff. You can even opt to layer it on for a more solid finish.)

🌹 They're free from paraben, fragrance, carmine, and animal testing. 🐰❤️

🌹 The MLBB Lip Tint range comes in 5 flattering shades.

🌹 The tints are all sealed via shrink wrap, with manufacturing date and ingredients list printed on the wrapper. Each tint contains 4.5g product and is good for 6 months upon opening.

 

Cons: 

🥀 It wears off when you eat and drink, but it does leave a long-wearing tint so you don't look totally pale.

🥀 Because of its grape juice ingredient, I expected it to taste like grape candy. Instead, it has a slightly bitter (but tolerable) taste.

🥀 The opaque packaging means you won't see the amount of product left inside. I prefer tints to have transparent packaging/tubes.
