This cute little Bubble Yum Original Flavored Lip Balm is part of the set I bought from the Superb Bazaar. It smells (and tastes) like the real thing. Sweet!
But then, I used it once and gave it to my little sister (who's in grade school). I love the yummy scent and super cute packaging (in sparkly pink) but I find the texture too thick (and not moisturizing enough). I can't layer lip products (even lipsticks) on it because it's too waxy and some of my lipstick would look "cakey" and messy when worn over this. The Reese's lip balm has the same feel and texture, but I like the chocolate-y scent better so I kept it.
This one is nice for when you'd like to add a little fun to your makeup kit. (And did I mention that this lip balm is tasty?) The product itself is so nostalgic; I remember buying Bubble Yum from the supermarket before, but now I can't find it anywhere (but in Candy Corner which is totally overpriced). But then, if you're after a moisturizing lip balm, it's better to try other options. :)
Love,
Helen

DeleteThis is interesting... hmmmm.... I remember Bazooka when you said bubblegum >:D
ReplyDeleteI miss Bazooka! Yung may comics sa loob! :D Wala na ngayon nun e. :P
DeleteI have a similar lip balm...in Sprite flavor! My sister gave it to me and I agree, it's too waxy. Mine leaves a white wax on my lips. I still use it anyways. =)Yours looks yummy!
ReplyDeleteIt is yummy! I wish the formula was less waxy so it'd be perfect! :) Wow, I bet the Sprite one is tasty too!
