Belo SunExpert Tinted Sunscreen SPF 50 PA++++

I've used countless tubes of Belo SunExpert Face Cover SPF 40 PA+++ ever since I discovered it way back during 2012, so I was thrilled when this tinted sunscreen came out! At first, I had apprehensions regarding the shade (medium/deep), but since it was available in Sample Room, why not give it a try?

Also, I was initially planning to repurchase Belo SunExpert Face Cover and try Maybelline Super BB Cream since I've read nothing but rave reviews, but because of this 2-in-1 tinted sunscreen, looks like I won't have to anymore!

It comes in a bright sunny yellow tube but with a smooth and sleek cap that has a sophisticated feel. However, I thought part of the tube was transparent to show the shade inside. Apparently, it's just printed on.

It comes with a slim nozzle to dispense just the right amount of product. It also doesn't spill.

  • SPF 50 PA++++ ensures broad spectrum protection against harmful UV rays
  • Tone Adapt Technology evens out skin tone, conceals fine lines, wrinkles, and other imperfections
  • Cell Protect strengthens skin's defense against premature skin aging
  • Paraben-free, non comedogenic, hypoallergenic, and dermatologist-tested
  •

My tube expires January 2019, so I guess we'll be bonding for a long time...3 years! :D

I was so happy when this arrived, and I hurriedly swatched it and had a huge sigh of relief. It's tone adapting technology fit my skin perfectly, even if the shade indicated medium to deep.

Bare face vs Belo SunExpert Tinted Sunscreen alone

It had a creamy but thicker texture compared to the regular face cover, and it took a while for me to fully blend it, but when I was done, my face was demi-matte, even, and my cheeks were glowing! :O I LOVE THIS ONE! The coverage is light to medium, so it won't hide super dark circles and/or huge zits, but it does conceal mild imperfections. It doesn't make my face oilier than it normally is, and it doesn't cause irritations and breakouts as well. Weather has gotten so hot lately, so at most, I'd just wear a thin layer of mineral powder before I got this tinted sunscreen. Now, I can use this one alone and be #BeautifullyProtected or top it off with mineral powder for longer lasting power. I love Belo SunExpert Tinted Sunscreen, and I would repurchase this in lieu of a separate sunblock and BB cream.

    1. WOW! That's great! I was torn between that Belo BB and this one, but since my face was already whiter than the rest of my body, this seemed to be the wiser choice. :)

  2. Glad to know it adjusts to my skin tone but I apply a lot of sunscreen on my face so could this look cakey on me if I applied the same amount? Like a 5 peso coin amount?

    1. I think it will be okay, just spread the excess on your neck. :P I usually just squirt out a tiny amount first to be sure, but end up doing that twice or thrice per application.

  3. Does this dry up dewy or matte?

    1. It's in-between, semi-matte. It's not like shiny BBs. :)

  4. It is quite making you very pretty and I would want to have that too! xD
BUT it has so many harmful chemicals like Ceteareth-20. I dont know why would Belo as in Vicky Belo would approve this. This is not a good doctor thing to promote as a product T.T
Its quite very bad. Ceteareth-20 could lead to breast cancer and and other problems because its carcinogen and one site says it is banned to be used on cosmetics.

SO WHY WOULD BELO MAKE THIS KIND OF PRODUCT T.T Not a doctor who cares for your health though.

Though I really like what it did to your face. Super very pretty it did to the face but I wish ceteareth wasnt there :(((

    1. OH! I didn't know that. :O Thanks for informing me, Ana.

On a side note, I used to be so paranoid about chemicals (such as parabens, etc) to years back when nauso yung Human Nature. But ang hirap kasi mag stick sa all natural products kasi limited palang sila. Maybe in small doses, it has a purpose and shouldn't be too bad naman. :)

    1. Yup, I still apply a light moisturizer underneath then this one. I seal it with powder to keep it in place, lalo na ang init lately. :)
