Metro Manila is now on
the 100th day of community quarantine, and it is one of the longest
in the world. With all the days we’re stuck at home, one would either get fat
or get fit.
Guess where I choose
to be?
Well, my ectomorph
body finds it hard to gain weight and build muscle. Getting fat used to be a
dream! But for the sake of improving my health, I will be taking this time to
get reacquainted with my first workout love – Barre3. I’ve written about Barre3
before, and I still stand by what I always say – It’s the only workout I ever
liked. They host their classes via Zoom, but if you’re not a fan of the app
(and all its privacy issues), I suggest stalking Barre3 international IG pages
for your daily dose of (free) workout. I’ve bought a couple of things to
supplement my exercise routine – such as a thicker yoga mat and a smart band
that tracks not only the calories burned but also my heart rate and blood
oxygen levels.
