LipIce Sheer Color in Strawberry

LipIce Sheer Color in Strawberry has got to be one of my current favorite lip balm! I've been using it everyday since I got it, and I'm afraid that it will run out soon as I've already used up about half of it in just a few weeks. I could bring just this one item in my kikay kit for work and look fine the entire day!

LipIce Sheer Color in Strawberry (P145.00/2g)

About the product:

This lip balm comes in a simple, slim, and sleek packaging. I love that it's pink!

The formula is soft and it glides ever so smoothly on your lips! It's highly moisturizing without the waxy or sticky feel. It contains lip-loving ingredients such as vitamin E, beeswax, and shea butter oil, macadamia nut oil, jojoba oil, and aloe extracts to keep our lips happy and healthy. It looks plain and colorless on the tube, but wait 'til you swipe it on. It turns into your own shade of pink, just like magic! Plus, it smells absolutely delicious - like sweet strawberry candy. It's just scented though, not flavored.

Swatches:

Bare lips

Just applied = instant sheer rosy tint

After a few minutes = hello bright pink lips! ♥

As for its moisturizing power, it is just like a typical lip balm. A good 3 hours or so, but this one leaves a lovely, just-bitten pink stain on your lips. By the end of the day, my lips  would sometimes look fuchsia! It could be because of the number of times I reapply, hence the color appears brighter, as the pink stain "accumulates" throughout the day. I'm loving it! I don't need to search far and wide for a perfect pink lipstick for my skintone, as this lip balm adjusts to the shade that works best for my complexion. LipIce Sheer Color is definitely a great color and care lip product. You'll also be glad to know that this just costs P145.00! It's a super good deal. :)

LipIce Sheer Color is available in Watsons and SM Department Stores. Like LipIce Philippines on Facebook!

Love,
Helen

    1. On darker lips, this would come out reddish. That's what happened to my colleague's lips when she tried out this lip balm. Don't forget to pile on the SPF (especially when you go out) to prevent your lips from getting dark. :)

    1. Yes! Maybelline is more affordable at P99, but I have yet to see if the color payoff is as nice as this one from LipIce. :)
