Sale Finds + Haul from SM City North EDSA End of Season Sale [January 2-11, 2015]

Sale season is definitely on! While some of us may complain of being so broke come January, now is really the best time to shop since stores usually go on major sale this time of the year. Take SM City North EDSA as an example! This mall is so near our place so I am almost always here.

I visited the mall on the first day of the sale to score the best deals! :D First stop, Claire's at SM Annex. I love going here to shop for my little sisters and niece.

They have loads of cutesy accessories at 50% off!

I spotted a shelf full of clip-on earrings but at regular price. I am not hopeless after all! Haha. Now I know where to buy them for when I need some fancy-looking accessories for more formal events.

Look at this ring watch! It reminds me of my childhood. I used to have one as a kid! :D

I spotted this baby at the bottom shelf. It will (magically) turn any pair of earrings to clips!

This one's not on sale, but I bought it as a gift for my sister. For every purchase, you get to pick a free sample, so I chose the Dinoplatz CC Cream sachet.

The Body Shop (also located at City Center) was also on sale. Good thing I went on the first day since I know stocks will fly like crazy once people find out that their holiday bath and body items and gifts are now all at 50% off.

I just had to buy this cutie! I did the math and each tub costs only P182.50! I want to go back and buy more stuff like shower gels, perfume, and their mini sets that come in pouches!

I love the scent of the Glazed Apple range like crazy. When I went home, I realized I should've gotten them right then and there. Now they might be gone when I go back to the store. Noooo. It smells sooo good! :D

Last few stops was in The Block, where I bought a couple more stuff from Etude House and Fully Booked. These one's aren't on sale though.

The Etude House Oh My God!! Cream (P398.00) is for whitening of secret spots (haha), and I gave it to my sister as a gift. The two face masks (at P58.00 each) are mine because I'm breaking out.

I love buying books like these. I've been curious about Stylized by Liz Uy for so long, but I found it pricey at P395.00 (hardbound). Now they've released a softbound copy for just P195.00! Yay! Make Up by Michelle Phan (P920.00) is a Christmas gift for myself since she's one of my favorite Youtube vloggers, and I just had to have her book.

Save vs. Spend: Charlotte Olympia Kitty Flats

I've recently come across a gorgeous pair of flats. Even Taylor Swift has one! :3

It's the Charlotte Olympia Kitty Flats in Black. It's one of my fashion lusts, but it would cost me an arm and leg to purchase it.

Parisian Fantasia (P499.75)

And then, I came across a dupe from Parisian. It was like an OMG moment, until I tried it on. I'm usually a size 6 or 7, but neither sizes (for this style) would fit me. Sad.

If you want one, I'm pretty sure SM Department Store still has these in stock. Run now, and make me jealous! Haha :)

23: Food | Gifts | Haul

Exactly one month after my birthday, I will finally get to share with you some of the stuff that I ate, got, and bought for my birthday! (This is such an overdue post.)

My family and I had dinner at Mesa in Tomas Morato for some delicious Filipino dishes. We fell in love with this restaurant at the first try, so we went back!

My team ate out for lunch since it was my teammate's despedida. We went to Ral's in UP Technohub for a lunch buffet. Look at how I eat during buffets. I had to stuff my plate with rice or else my meal would be incomplete! A few more plates followed after, but I wasn't able to take pictures anymore since I was so busy eating. Haha!

Before we headed back to work, my colleague surprised me with this cute little cake from Starbucks!

My college friends had a reunion/sleepover a week after my birthday. We had home-cooked fried chicken and hotdog. These kind of food remind me of children's parties, but I liked it a lot! Fried chicken is actually my favorite thing in the world. Haha!

Then they surprised me with a hate cake! :O Haha!

My mom gave me an SM gift card so I could choose whatever I wanted. I got a nude-colored bag from Parisian (just because I love neutral-colored bags), and a gray-colored slippers with butterfly detail from Toeberries. I bought a new pair of slippers because it was flood season then, and I could wear it on my way to work (if ever it gets too rainy for my shoes to function). Gray goes with everything!

My dad got these cute Frostings cupcakes for me and my sisters.

This has to be one of my favorite presents - a Forever 21 makeup bag from my sister! I wanted this but couldn't get myself to buy it since it was too pricey, but my sister gave it to me! Yey! My makeup now has a new home. This one is soooo roomy, which means that I can get more makeup to fill it up. :D

The following gifts I received from my officemates came in pink. Oh they knew me quite well! A pink kikay kit, a pink Michaela umbrella, and pink-and-purple flats from Tomato!

This one is my gift to my darling baby niece - she turned 2 last August. The colors remind me of the Tomato flats above!

This one I also consider as a birthday gift, since I won it on my birth month! I got a P3,000 GC from Melissa shoes from Maven magazine. But I have yet to pick my perfect pair!

The last 2 kikay stuff, I got for myself! I repurchased the Snoe Magic Apple Whitening S-rub from my favorite Snoe counter in Landmark Trinoma. This stuff works like magic. It instantly brightens my skin!

I also bought this new book, Seventeen Ultimate Guide to Beauty! It's my favorite beauty book since it has a lot of makeup and hair pegs. It's very inspiring! (Will share what's inside soon!)
