OUCH! Deluxe First Aid Plasters

Remember this?

It's so nostalgic. I remember buying this alot when I was a kid. Too bad I can't find it anywhere now (and if I did, I'm sure it will be overpriced! XD)

This is not a kikay post, and it might bore some because it's about band-aids. Haha! But these are just so cute to pass up. Normally I don't use adhesive bandages (A.K.A. band-aids) when I get little cuts and scrapes. I just let them be and it heals as it should. But when I saw these cute little bandages, I found myself looking for reasons to use this! Such as my tiny paper cut that's almost healed? Haha. These were given to me as a gift by my lovely friend/semi-sister, La Reina, who came back from her internship in Utah. :)

I love this set! It's so me. Pink, girly, and frilly!

This one is so not me. I'm no pirate nor am I emo. But I'll use this over normal flesh-colored bandages. Haha!

Now I'm still looking for reasons to use this. It somewhat made me look forward to odd, non-serious injuries. HAHA. This is crazy. Thanks, La Reina! :)

Giligan's Restaurant

Last Saturday, my boyfriend and I went to Gilgan's in SM Megamall to celebrate our 22nd monthsary. We chose this place because the last time we ate here, we super enjoyed the food. I remember ordering fish fillet with fries and sisig and we finished a whole platter of rice (which was good for 3 to 4 people!). :D

The interiors had designs reminiscent of a ship.

They also have set meals at affordable prices. It's perfect for celebrating special occasions with friends.

Here's what we ordered:

Chicken Fingers (P162.00)
Chicken breast marinated in buttermilk and fried to a golden crisp. Served w/your choice of (creamy garlic or honey mustard) dip.

This one looked like banana cues. It was a fail order! It's big but it tasted really bland. I ordered this because the picture of it in the menu had fries with it. Haha. Too bad there was none. We had 2 pieces left and had it wrapped for takeout. Even if I were really hungry, I won't eat this. XD

Inihaw na Baboy (P125.00)

This was one of their better dishes. Really tender and tasty. The serving size got smaller though compared to before (according to my boyfriend).

Garlic Rice Platter (P84.00)

Lovely peach rose :3

The food we ordered were not so great compared to the first time we came here. Maybe we would come back but order other dishes instead. This restaurant has no service charge. Yey. :D After dinner, we went to Yoh Froz for dessert. It was a happy happy day! :)

Yoh Froz: Do Your Health a Flavor!

Last Saturday, my foodtrip partner-in-crime went to Yoh Froz in Rustans Supermarket, Shangri-La. We won in their Facebook Anniversary promo wherein we were among the first 50 people who posted Happy Anniversary greetings on Yoh Froz's Facebook Page!

I love their slogan. If you're in the mood for desserts, frozen yogurt is indeed the way to go. Now, I like frozen yogurt more then ice cream. I'm doing my health a flavor and favor!

They have plain and flavored (strawberry) yogurt and countless toppings to choose from. Take-away tubs are also available if you want to take home this yummy goodness! Yoh Froz also has Parfaits, Belgian Waffles, and Yoh-gurt Smoothies.

Both of us won a regular-sized cup of plain froz. We got pleasantly surprised at how big their serving was! I love how the milky and tangy yogurt tasted good on its own. Their flavored yogurt as of the moment is strawberry. My sister (who hates the sour tang of yogurt) told me that she loves Yoh Froz's strawberry yogurt because it tasted like strawberry ice cream. I literally got shocked to hear that from her. Now that one I have to try next time!

Happy 6th anniversary, Yoh Froz! :)

Love,
Helen
