Valentine's Day is just around the corner! Not that I'm excited, but what are your plans? :D As for me, maybe I'll just spend the day with my family or friends, or do some major pampering. The possibilities are endless when you celebrate (and not sulk at) singlehood!
Part of my pampering ritual is taking care of my skin, making sure it looks bright and healthy. After hiking (two weekends in a row), it's now time to give my skin some lovin'. Sun exposure had taken toll on my skin, hence I reach for Gluta White & Firm - a skincare line with advanced skin-whitening and skin-firming properties.

This soap contains Centella Asiatica (an anti-aging ingredient that gives a toning and tightening effect on the skin when applied), Carnitine, Caffeine, and L-Carnitine to make the skin more firm. Claire Blanche and Glutathione makes the skin fairer.

Gluta White & Firm Soap is one of the more gentle whitening soaps I've tried. The brand's line of products doesn't promise instant or 7-day whitening. It claims that 2 weeks worth of consistent use will make a difference. The soap has a very mild shower-fresh scent and it gives a foamy lather. It also doesn't easily melt. However, with just 1 bar I wasn't able to tell the difference on my skin. But I noticed a bit of microexfoliation after the second week. You'd need to follow up with a lotion afterwards, such as Gluta White & Firm Lotion.

Finally, a breakdown of what Claire Blanch actually is. It's a safe and effective whitening complex that contains 7 actives: Kojic acid, Tyrosine, Arbutin, Glutathione, and flowers such as Saxifraga, Scutellaria, and Peony. It also still contains centella asiatica, carnitine, caffeine, and L-carnitine to firm the skin.
Same as the soap, the manufacturing and expiry dates are indicated on the tube.
The lotion has a thick and creamy texture, but once it's absorbed by the skin it doesn't feel sticky or greasy at all. It has the similar mild, shower fresh scent as the soap. It's able to hydrate my dry, flaky skin well without feeling heavy. However, 2 weeks aren't enough to see a drastic difference on the skintone, but this did make my skin look healthier and better in a way. With continuous use, in 1 month you'd probably see a notable difference.
