Capsule Review: Red Logo Hints & Fab Lipsticks

When it comes to lipsticks, do you choose to go pretty or powerful?

Today's post will be a capsule review about Red Logo's two lipstick brands: Hints and Fab. Red Logo is a local direct-selling company under Golden ABC, Inc.

Red Logo Hints Color Cream Lipstick in Coral Crush
A moisturizing blast of rich, creamy color that cares for the lips, kiss after kiss.

Hints Color Cream Lipstick comes in a lightweight plastic packaging. The tube looks cute in baby pink, black, and white.

The manufacturing and expiry dates are printed on the packaging so you'd know when to finally toss it out. The shelf life for this lipstick is 2 years.

The ingredients are also listed on the cap.

At the base is a sticker that indicates the shade name of the lipstick.

My camera was so stubborn and couldn't capture the true shade of the lipstick on the tube. In actual, it has a coral-salmon shade that looks absolutely sweet and pretty. However, the quality of this one needs improvement, as it's my first time to use a lipstick that has air-bubbles in it.

Swatch:

Red Logo Hints Color Cream Lipstick in Coral Crush

Pros:
  • It comes in a cute, lightweight packaging.
  • It's affordable.
  • It has a creamy texture that doesn't easily melt.
  • It has a moisturizing formula. No chapping!
  • Coral Crush is a beautiful, everyday lipstick shade.

Cons:
  • It has a strong artificial scent.
  • It has air bubbles.
  • It's moisturizing, but it doesn't have a smooth glide.
  • After a few hours of wear, it settles into lip lines.
  • It's not very pigmented. I did multiple swipes just to achieve the shade of the swatch above.
  • It's available only thru Red Logo direct sellers.

I classify Red Logo Hints Color Cream Lipstick in Coral Crush as my go pretty shade of lipstick.

Red Logo Fab Lipstick in Luxe

Fab Lipstick in Luxe is the big sister of Hints. It comes in a slim and sleek packaging. It actually came with a box, which got lost at home.

It also has a simple sticker label at the base of the tube, indicating the shade name and grams of the product.

Luxe is a brownish red shade. It's bordering from nude to brick red. On the tube, it looks matte (without any hint of shine), but this one actually has a smoother glide compared to Hints.

Red Logo Fab Lipstick in Luxe

Pros:
  • It comes in a slim, sleek, and durable plastic packaging. The type that won't crack even if you drop it a lot of times.
  • The slim width of the lipstick makes it easy to apply.
  • It's pigmented.
  • It has a chocolate scent!
  • It has a satin finish.
  • It's not very moisturizing, but not too drying as well.
  • It has a smooth glide when applied.
  • Lasting power is better than Hints.

Cons:
  • It's available only thru Red Logo direct sellers.

I classify Red Logo Fab Lipstick in Luxe as my go powerful shade of lipstick.

I don't know how much these lipsticks exactly cost, but I'm quite certain that my sister got them for less than P200.00 a pop.

To answer my question above: When it comes to lipsticks, do you choose to go pretty or powerful?

I choose to go powerful. I like those man-repelling shades like brick red or fuchsia, since I feel good whenever I wear such shades.

How about you? :)

Love,
Helen

NOTD: I Believe In Amour by Color Club

Today, I was feeling girly so I decided to paint my nails a sweet shade of baby pink! :D

Color Club Professional Nail Lacquer in I Believe In Amour

Color Club Professional Nail Lacquers have a long shelf life compared to other brands. This one will last for 30 months after first use!

Aside from the color, even the cap is cute! It has a floral print embossed on top.

I Believe In Amour is a cool-toned pale pink shade that won't make the hands look washed out or darker than it actually is. Here, I applied only 2 coats and no top coat. It has a creme finish when used alone, but I bet it would look extra pretty when you apply a glossy top coat over it.

Color Club's high-quality professional formula is vegan and free from formaldehyde, toluene, and DBP. You can get them at P300.00 a pop in Get Polished! Nail Spa.

Love,
Helen
