One thing I love about shopping at Althea is discovering unique Korean beauty finds! On my last haul, I chanced upon a hair and body mist range by Body Holic that replicates the scent of luxury perfumes with up to 99.9% similarity. Ooh, interesting!
Body Holic differentiates its formula from other body mists, because it has over 5 hours duration to compensate for the weak sustainability of fragrances in body mist form.
It comes in a lightweight plastic bottle and its compact size at 50ml makes it travel-friendly.
Chanel N°5
- Top notes: aldehydes, bergamot, lemon, neroli, and ylang-ylang
- Heart notes: jasmine, rose, lily of the valley, and iris
- Base notes: vetiver, sandalwood, vanilla, amber, and patchouli
Body Holic Red Potion:
- Top notes: lemon, bergamot, aldehydic, and neroli
- Heart notes: jasmin, orris, and lily of the valley
- Base notes: animal (?), vanilla, patchouli, and vetiver
I like that the expiry date is printed at the base of the packaging.
Body Holic Red Potion Hair & Body Mist smells good! I sometimes forget that it's a body mist since it smells just like perfume. It lasts long, too. The scent is quite strong, but it goes well with my body chemistry so it doesn't give off an "old lady" vibe - just powdery musk. It may come of either as a mature or sophisticated scent. I can just spray it twice or thrice a day, and it lasts all day. It's worth the price, and I'd explore the other scents from this range. (There are 4 more!)
