Belo Essentials AcnePro 3-Step Clear Skin System

One local brand I trust for my skincare needs is Belo Essentials. Okay, this one's not even a sponsored post! I'm just ravinggg. :D

Ever since I tried their Belo SunExpert Face Cover SPF 40 (which I'm currently on my 4th bottle), I know this brand and my skin were a match. For once, a sunblock that didn't break me out! I also loved the Belo SunExpert Transparent Mist SPF 50, and the Belo Essentials Intensive Whitening Bar - my buddies during and after travel to bring back my skin tone.

A few months back, Belo Essentials launched the AcnePro range of products consisting of a facial wash, toner, and spot treatment. My skin's not that problematic, but I do breakout sometimes, so once again, I got all excited. Its active ingredient is purified bee venom - so unique! My skin's used to salicylic acid, so I'm curious on whether this will work for me.

After trying the AcnePro range for about a month, here's my review!

Belo Essentials AcnePro Pimple Fighting Gel Face Wash

About the product:

Ingredients:

Spotted: Bee venom to treat mild to moderate acne, niacinamide (or vitamin B3) to brighten the skin, and chamomile extract to calm the skin.

Swatch:

The cleanser comes in a gel (or jelly) texture that foams up just a bit. The texture is light and it works great for oily/acne prone skin. It rids my skin of all traces of dirt and oil, but it doesn't leave my skin dry. My skin feels so fresh after every wash. The only thing I don't like about it is the scent - too floral for my liking. If only this one's unscented, it would be perfect for me.

Price: P99.75 (50ml)

Belo Essentials AcnePro Treatment Toner

About the product:

Ingredients:

Spotted: Bee venom, niacinamide, witch hazel water (to treat skin irritation), and chamomile.

Even with its low price, had high hopes for this toner - on whether it could replace my HG salicylic acid toner from another brand. This toner is alcohol-based, but it's not to drying (for my oily skin). It stings just a bit where I have broken skin (from picking pimples), but it does the job well when it comes to removing left-over dirt left behind by the cleanser. The scent is mild, which is a very good thing. I like to use this on normal days to maintain my skin's clear state, but on the days that I break out (with bigger pimples), I go back to salicylic acid for the meantime (for faster results).

Price: P79.75 (60ml)

Belo Essentials AcnePro Pimple Gel

About the product:

Ingredients:

Because I always read the labels of the products I use, I realized that aside from the usual bee venom-niacinamide-chamomile combo that all products from the AcnePro range have, this Pimple Gel contains same 7 skin brightening ingredients such as Celeteque Brightening Radiance Body Cream (which they named as "Mulbright Complex") and Snow Skin Whitening Soap (which they named as "Alpaflor GigaWhite").

Swatch:

This spot treatment is very handy to have. The packaging is a bit big for something that just contains 10g of products inside. The product comes in a clear gel, and is easily absorbed by the skin. What's nice with this is that it doesn't sting or feel warm on my skin, but it works in shrinking zits in 3 days. I so wish they'd make a moisturizing gel for this range, something I can use on my entire face.

The Belo AcnePro 3-Step Clear Skin System is affordable, proudly local, but with good quality. It's doing a great job in keeping my skin clear. I also like how the products in this range are free from unnecessary colorants, but only contains ingredients that are really beneficial for the skin.

Price: P149.75 (10g)

The Belo Essentials AcnePro range is available in leading supermarkets, drugstores, and department stores nationwide. Like Belo Essentials on Facebook for more information.

Have you tried the Belo AcnePro 3-Step Clear Skin System? How did it work out for you?

Love,
Helen

  1. I haven't tried that line yet, but would love to! I keep getting break outs with sunblock too, even with the one from Belo essentials (just a bit though, compared to others). Hope to find my HG sunblock soon!

Great review as always, Helen :)
