Etude House Shining Dream Perfumed Kissful Set

Chilly weather feels so good, but it's not really here to stay. Gotta enjoy it while it lasts! Lately, I find myself reaching for more moisturizing lip products because of the cool, dry weather. For my usual makeup, I've chucked lipsticks (for the meantime) and made room for these cute little lip glosses from Etude House! ♥

Another incentive to wear lip gloss? Sping and summer is all about freshness! Bold, dark lipsticks can take a break for a while.

Limited edition set of Kissful Lip products that will make your lips kissable with its sweet scent and nourishing care

Seeing this actually brought me back to my preteen days, when I would feel instantly prettier even with just a swipe of gloss! (Yeah, those were the days. Now, it takes a whole lot more!)

Etude House Shining Dream Perfumed Kissful Set comes in 2 variants, 01 Sweet Peach and 02 Happy Passion Fruit.

Ingredients:

Etude House make girls' dreams come true with the Shining Dream Perfumed Kissful Set. Everything about it is cute! Especially the fact that it's made for sharing, since each set comes with 2 lippies.

Since I've already tried Etude House Kissful Lip Care in Peach before, I tried the Happy Passion Fruit variant this time.

Etude House Perfumed Kissful Lip Care comes in the standard plastic squeeze tube with a slanted applicator. This is actually my most preferred type of packaging for lip gloss since it's hygienic. Application is also a breeze!

The manufacturing date is printed on the crimp of the tube.

Swatch: Etude House Perfumed Kissful Lip Care in 02 Happy Passion Fruit

When swatched, 01 Sweet Peach is more of a warmer pink shade, while 02 Happy Passion Fruit is a cool bluish pink shade.

Both variants have a slight pink tint to them, but the difference of the shades aren't really noticeable when worn on the lips. They both go on clear.

I apply this whenever my lips feel dry, and I get instant relief! My lips look so much healthier and better afterwards. For a lip gloss, this one goes on light and isn't tacky or sticky at all (which is the miracle of all miracles!). I've mentioned before that I don't like lip gloss as much as other lip products, but for now, I don't care, I love it! (Okay, that part was meant to have a tune to the song of Icona Pop.)

I've tried scented lippies before, but these ones are perfumed. (And when Etude House said that these are perfumed, they really meant it!) This could either be a hit or miss for some. Happy Passion Fruit has a strong fragrance that's sweet but nowhere near the smell of real passion fruit, but luckily for me, I'm fine with it. Sweet Peach has a softer, more subtle scent. The fragrance lasts for as long as you're wearing the lip gloss. (You just get immune to it after a few minutes.) Another thing, it has no flavor so you won't be tempted to lick it off.

  3. For moisturizing, I just opt for the boring ones like Carmex, Blistex, Nivea and even simple petroleum jelly :P I've never really felt comfy using "fashion" gloss for healing!
