Gifts & Hauls: Kiehl's | Snoe | The Body Shop

I haven't been writing much lately, nor have I been attending events for the past weeks all because of overtime work (for more than 2 months already!). Before I even think of complaning, I have to reminded that all those hard work equals to more future haul posts, so do watch out for that! Thank God for overtime pay! :D

Calbee Jagabee, Ferrero Duplo, and Cadbury Dairy Milk Marvellous Creations (all from Hong Kong)

As I type this, I still can't believe that I've been to Trinoma for 3 days straight this weekend! I went last Friday with my colleagues for Mezza Norte and to get some stuff. I went there yesterday with my sister to have lunch and milk tea with my cute friend Rosy, who gave me and my sister chocolates from Hong Kong. Today, I went again to have a family lunch out to celebrate my sister's birthday. I'm so sick of Trinoma, but I still go there anyway. Haha!

Kiehl's Actively Correcting & Beautifying BB Cream in Fair

I dropped by Kiehl's in Trinoma to claim my monthly freebie from the Kiehl's 2013 Calendar. For May, it was supposed to be a sample of Kiehl's Ultra Light Daily UV Defense SPF 50/PA+++, which I was so looking forward to try since my daily moisturizer/sunblock is almost empty, but it wasn't available so the SA gave me a sample of the Kiehl's Actively Correcting & Beautifying BB Cream in Fair instead. I hope this matches my skin, and if it does, watch out for my review!

Snoe Star Night Star Bright Night Perfecting Toner (P249.00)
Snoe Hair Heroes Amplify (P599.00)

Snoe is spreading goodness and beauty in Metro North. I always buy my Snoe products from their kiosk in Landmark Trinoma because I'm friends with their super bubbly SA, but the stocks are incomplete and they don't have testers for their lippies there. Now, Snoe is available in Purebeauty Trinoma, and their new store is open in SM City North EDSA (Main Building). I can't wait to see what their SM City North EDSA store looks like! For this haul, I got my new and improved Snoe Star Night Star Bright Night Perfecting Toner and Hair Heroes Amplify (which I've been wanting to try since it was released).

The Body Shop Strawberry Eau de Toilette
The Body Shop Strawberry Lip Gloss

I dropped by The Body Shop in SM City North EDSA to claim my prize for being one of the five winners from their "What's You're Favorite Ingredient?" contest over at The Body Shop, Philippines' Facebook page. Among 5 scents (Moringa, Satsuma, Vanilla, Strawberry, and Shea) available in their new Eau de Toilette range, I chose fruity Strawberry!

Package from The Body Shop

Last for this post is this package from The Body Shop. This one actually made my week! It has something to do with their ongoing Mind-Blowing Sale, which I will unveil on my next post. Hint: It's limited edition, luscious, nutty, and smells good enough to eat. :D

I missed blogging, so expect to see more posts for the coming days. Care to share with me your recent hauls?

Love,
Helen

  2. Hi! I have Oily/acne prone & sensitive skin, the new Snoe Star Night Star Bright Night is much better than the previous formulation. My skin absorbs it faster and it has instant brightening effect. I've been using it about a week now & my pores are also finer. Snoe always saves my skin!

  3. Hey I was wondering what you think of the body shop strawberry eau de toilette? Is it too alcohol-y or sweet?

    1. Hi Rachel! It's sweet and candy-like, but not too alcohol-y.

  4. Hi! I have been looking at the Snoe toner, and I was pretty disappointed to see that they added irritants like alcohol and menthol while removing the Vitamin C. What to you think of it so far? I hope you'll do an updated review with a comparison to the older one soon!

    1. I didn't notice the menthol and Vitamin C part, but I definitely saw alcohol in the new ingredients list. But then both of them smell/look/feel the same (on my first few uses). I went back to my old toner for now since I wanted to finish it first, but I will certainly do an updated review when I have used the new one for a couple of weeks. :)
