La Creperie in Shangri-La Mall

I don't usually have fancy crepe on a normal day (although I'd love to); they almost look too good to be eaten! Last week I had lunch in La Creperie in Shangri-La Mall with fellow blogger friends. This restaurant is located in the 2/F, just across Naturalizer.

I did some serious carbo-loading with all the pasta, bread, and crepe! Happy tummy!

Shrimp Pomodoro

I liked that the pasta was firm, and the sauce had an Italian style tang from the tomato sauce. Also, the fact that it had shrimp in it made it a winner for me. I love shrimp! As for the bread, usually bread served with my pasta dishes were so-so, but these bread slices were actually good! It was fresh and I love the garlic-butter combo.

Mango Hazelnut au Chocolat
Chocolate crepe, fresh mangoes, hazelnut spread and sliced almonds

Hello, crepe heaven! Chocolate goes so well with fresh, ripe mangoes! I'm not too fond of the almond slices, but it does add texture and crunch to the dessert.

Iced Tea

I was pleasantly surprised to see that they served iced tea made from real tea bags, and not those powdered mixes. Initially I thought that it lacked sweetness, but then realized that there was either honey or syrup at the base of the glass. Stir first then sip!

I loved La Creperie and I'll certainly be back for more of their pastas and crepes!

Love,
Helen

    1. I heard they allow you to make your own crepe combos too. They have 3 branches: Eastwood, Rob Galleria, and Shangri-La. :)
