Review: SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Tone Brightening Boosting Toner

After almost a year, here's another SKIN1004 review! 💖 I'm all for brightening skincare, so I'm pretty stoked to try this one out.

My first encounter with the brand was in September last year, where I reviewed SKIN1004's Madagascar Centella Toning Toner and Watergel Sheet Ampoule Mask. That particular version contained Centella Asiatica Extract (84%) as its first ingredient, niacinamide, PHA, and hyaluronic acid.

SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Tone Brightening Boosting Toner was released just 3 months ago, and this toner contains Centella Asiatica Extract (90%) as its first ingredient, niacinamide, MadeWhite (Madecassoside), and Singreen (a natural exfoliating agent).

As always, the packaging is simple and on point! It comes in a matte, colorless plastic bottle which highlights the pure formula of the toner with no artificial colorant and fragrance.

The ingredients list is indicated on the box. The manufacturing & expiry dates are printed on both the base of the box and bottle. The box and the bottle have sticker seals to keep the product tamper-proof and fresh.

SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Tone Brightening Boosting Toner has a divine texture that resembles water. For something that provides deep soothing care, this is definitely non-sticky! It has a gentle exfoliating action that removes dead skin cells and dirt, but it won't cause visible peeling at any given point. This toner is so mild, it can be decanted to an atomizer and serve as your mid-day skin freshening face mist. It leaves zero stickiness and tackiness, and it is instantly absorbed by the skin. I didn't get any skin irritation from this toner, as it's suitable with sensitive/acne-prone skin. I have been using this for 2 weeks, but I can't say if it fades my blemishes. I will continue using this day and night to see its long term effect.
