Pretty Looks S3 Eyebrow Stranding Retouch

I had my eyebrows tattooed at Pretty Looks last October, and the package was inclusive of a retouch session after a minimum of 6 weeks. You may backread here.

As promised, here's an update!

It was Cha who did my brows again. Her rate has increased to P18,000 (for 2 sessions), and I couldn't have been happier to have mine done earlier this year before her price hike. But first, let me show you the state of my brows before retouch.

Apparently, I thought I could skip grooming my brows forever. Turns out, I could skip drawing it everyday, but I still needed to have it threaded. The shade has faded to a slightly grayish tone, and it lacked definition. But I'm still happy to at least wake up with brows.

Also, last time I felt that they skimped on anesthesia, so I showed them the IG post of Karel Marquez, saying I wanted anesthesia THIS thick.

I arrived a few minutes after my appointment, but had to wait for over an hour for my turn - the place was packed on a Saturday afternoon! This was also the time when they put topical anesthesia and let it sit on my skin. They used the same pinkish anesthesia from last time, but the amount was an improvement. And my retouch was less painful.

However, before my procedure started, Cha's station ran out of dark brown pigment/ink. She wanted to use brown on me instead, but no can't do. I'm not planning on dyeing my hair anytime soon, and it's pure black now, so I can't be sporting light brows. I thought of coming back another day, but I asked her to search from another workstation instead, and she did find some. (So ladies, if you know the right brow shade for you, insist on your right as a paying customer.) Pretty Looks, please take note of your stock availability. Last time, it was the anesthesia, now it's the ink.

She shaved my unruly brows, and proceeded to tattooing without the need to "sketch" it first with an eyebrow pencil. It took almost an hour, and here's the result!

The tattoo will look dark right after the session, but I actually liked how defined it was.

It peeled off completely after 8 days, and this is how my brows look like now! The inner part of my right brow lacks a few more oomph, but I like the result in general.

No makeup here! I am so happy! I'm thinking of getting my upper lids tattooed, too! But maybe sometime in the future, since I'm saving up for something big this 2016. Imagine the difference it will make.

On most days, I just apply my BB compact, lippie, and I head straight to work. Sometimes, I skip face makeup altogether and just swipe on some lipstick. Oh the convenience!

Pretty Looks S3 Eyebrow Stranding will cost you anywhere from P16,000 to P30,000 inclusive of 2 sessions, with rates depending on who will do your brows. This is not sponsored, and I'm happy to say that it's worth my money.

Love,
Helen

  2. oooh! Ang ganda na niya after a few days. I thought it would be too dark especially since you have light skin pero it really looks good when it completely peeled off. Awesome!

    1. Yeah, nabasa ko nga eh before ako nagpagawa. Marami not so good reviews. Mine's not perfect din eh, faded sa inner right brows pero I can live with it. I'm planning to get a retouch after 3-5 years, sana hindi OA yung price hike.

  8. Had the same procedure only i opted for the senior artist. I have't gone back for the 2nd session yet since im still out of the country. It has been 2 months since the first procedue. It began fading quickly after 2 weeks. Now it is back to what it looked like originally. Hopefully i will be back to have the second session by the end of the month.
