Too Cool For School Morocco Ghassoul Foam Cleanser

Finally, I have the time to write. I missed this a lot. To make up for my lack of posts, I'll be hosting a giveaway soon. ;)

Today, it's time for another skincare review! I'll be sharing with you guys what has been keeping my skin clear for months now - it's Too Cool For School Morocco Ghassoul Foam Cleanser.

I switch up my facial cleanser often because I get easily bored with the scent (hehe) and also because I want to try new stuff for review. This big tube of foam cleanser was given to me months ago when I dropped by the store opening of Too Cool For School in Glorietta.

My gripe about the brand's products before is that they don't have English translations for their product descriptions. Well, lookie here!

Moroccan Ghassoul effectively removes the excessive sebum and makeup residue and keeps the skin moist even after washing. Fine Ghassoul rains and various plant extracts help get rid of old dead skin cells and achieve smoother and more radiant skin.

If you're wondering what ghassoul is, it's actually a natural mineral clay. When combined with water, it can be used to clean the skin and even hair! That's the raw ingredient we're talking about there. This cleanser contains 5% Moroccan mud in the form of tiny pulverized grains and I feel no grittiness at all, which means it really is finely ground.

The packaging is no-nonsense, matte, and simple. It's also sealed on the outside and the inside.

As for the product itself, it comes in quite thick, pasty, and creamy. The scent is clean and faint, and I like it this way when it comes to my skincare products. It lathers nicely and quite easily but settles into a creamy white texture once it gets massaged onto your face, as opposed to overly bubbly ones that dry out your skin. My skin is oily, and I like how this foam cleanser does its job of getting rid of excess oils, dead skin cells, and light makeup without making my skin feel dry or tight at all. In fact, it makes my skin look and feel more balanced. On days when I wear just moisturizing sunblock and mineral powder, I skip my makeup remover and this foam cleanser works fine alone, and I haven't got breakouts since. This one deep cleans the pores and exfoliates my skin at the same time. Price is quite steep for a facial cleanser, but if you've got extra budget, this one's worth a try.

Price: P519 for 150ml
