I'm Having Mangoes & Blueberries for Bath!

My Mom knows I love The Body Shop, so one time she was arranging her closet, she gave me this! :D

The Body Shop Mango Shower Gel & Whip Body Lotion Set

It's this time of the year again when The Body Shop launches their holiday gift sets. I'm always happy and giddy when I receive some during Christmas! :D

I've used and loved The Body Shop Body Butter in Mango before, so it's about time that I tried other products from the mango range.

The Body Shop Mango Shower Gel
Exotic soap-free cleansing

I've made full reviews of other variants of The Body Shop's shower gel before, so now I'll be making this short but sweet. This one's literally sweet because it smells like mango nectar! Other countries consider mango as an exotic fruit, but the Philippines is really blessed to have this as our national fruit. The lovely scent is delicate and fragrant, but it doesn't really linger after you bathe. A little (peso-sized) drop is enough for the entire body, provided you use a bath lily to fluff things up. What I like about The Body Shop's shower gels is that they're soap-free and gentle on my skin, but I wish they could take sulfates of its ingredients. It would be less foamy, but that would be perfect for me.

The Body Shop Mango Whip Body Lotion
Velvety moisturisation. VERY DRY SKIN

The lotion is called a whip body lotion probably because of it's light texture. While the shower gel smells like mango nectar, this one smells like a creamy mango dessert! (Mangoes and cream, anyone?) I love that this one is easily absorbed by the skin, and it leaves a non-sticky velvety soft finish each time. The only con? It's still not moisturizing enough for extra dry areas such as heels, even if it's said to be made for very dry skin.

Guess how much addicted I am with their bath products?

When I used up my tiny bottle of the Mango Shower Gel, I immediately bought another one, this time in Blueberry!

The Body Shop Blueberry Shower Gel

I went for blueberry this time because it smells nostalgic and it was on sale at 40% off!

The scent of this one reminds me of Fox's Blackcurrant candies I used to eat as a kid. Plus, the shower gel itself looks like blueberry syrup! :3

Are you also loving the shower gels from The Body Shop? :)

Love,
Helen
