When it comes to fragrances, I almost always gravitate towards foodie scents like vanilla and chocolate, just because they're temptingly delicious and I love the thought of smelling like dessert. However, when it comes to choosing fragrances that really go well with my body chemistry, I find that I get the most compliments whenever I use floral fragrances. The Body Shop has revamped their fragrances and released their finest fragrance collection containing 100% organic essence and globally sourced natural extracts, Scents of the World.

I loved how The Body Shop has revamped the look of their fragrances. From their previous version (with a chubbier bottle and a not so sturdy cap), we now have this!

The Body Shop Japanese Cherry Blossom Eau de Toilette (P1,395.00)

The scent I am currently loving is The Body Shop Japanese Cherry Blossom Eau de Toilette (EDT). The scent is inspired by a spring day in Maruyama Park, where people witness the fleeting beauty of cherry trees that are in bloom for only one week. If I can't witness that in person, then I'll just spritz some of this fragrance on and let the scent take me to that faraway place.

This one is a nice daytime fragrance as it is so delicate, light, and fresh. Those who are sensitive to fragrances would also love this, as this scent won't induce a sneezing spree. This fragrance is delicately floral and so pleasing to the senses. The only con is that it doesn't last for more than half a day, but I don't really mind reapplying by midday, since it smells so good.

For a longer-lasting fragrance, layering comes into the picture! Aside from the EDT, The Scents of the World range of products also comes in shower gels, body lotions, and fragrance mists.
