Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Darling

When I first heard about Revlon's new Balm Stains, I was so intrigued! I've heard of and used lip stains before, but sometimes they can be drying that I have to layer on a separate lip balm for moisture. But this one is a lip balm that stains your lips. How perfect can a lippie get? :D I initially wanted a red balm stain, but I swatched the shades on my arm and found them a bit brownish/orange-y on my skin, so pink was in order.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Darling (P575.00)

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain is housed in a retractable pen-type packaging. It's very convenient to use, since you can just twist and apply - no sharpening required. Plus, I like that the color of the packaging is a close match to the actual shade that is inside.

The shade I got was Darling, an cool-toned lilac pink.

Swatch:

Although it has strong hints of purple, it's very wearable. This comes out bright pink on my lips; but for darker lips, this may make your lips look more purple. I love the minty scent and the slight cooling sensation upon application. This one glides on and soothes your lips, while giving it a pop of color. What I love most about it is that it lasts very long on my lips! Even if the initial slight sheen of the balmy layer wears off during the day, I am left with a pink stain that looks natural and just bitten. I love that this balm stain is pigmented, long-lasting, and moisturizing. There's no need to carry a separate lip balm and lipstick with this baby! The next shades I'm eyeing are Lovesick and Smitten, as I'm into deeper shades of pink.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains are priced at P575.00 each, and are available in all Revlon counters in leading department stores nationwide.

Love,
Helen

  1. I have this one too! The red shade, I think it's called romance or something like that haha! I love it and I think it's a good dupe for Clinique's chubby sticks (cause it looks so similar) haahah!

    1. Ooh! Cindy like the "Romantic" shade too! This one's cheaper and better than Clinique's, as what they have is a tinted balm. Revlon's is a balm stain! :)

  2. I have already tried two lip stains, one from CG and Revlon (ung nauna jan sa line na yan) as well. Both products disappointed me. But upon reading this, I might reconsider. Ganda ng pigmentation sa lips mo sis.

    1. I've seen those sharpie-like lip stains! The Revlon one as I heard has a lip balm on the other end, and it breaks off easily. Try this one, my sister and I love using this balm stain! :)

    1. Thanks, Jenny! I like Smitten too! :) Revlon rarely goes on sale, but if they do, I'd grab it ASAP! I tried looking for these Balm Stains in Duty Free, but as of last week they don't have it yet.

  6. the color is really nice. I think it's better than lip butter 'coz of its staying power. :)

    1. Yup! Though I haven't really tried Revlon's Lip Butter, I think this one's better because of its texture and lasting power. :)
