ArmyNavy Burger + Burrito

When my sisters and I crave for good old American and Mexican food, ArmyNavy is the place to go. The first time we dined in this resto was in their Greenhills branch, but I'm glad that SM North EDSA (Skygarden) also has a branch. (Yey, closer to home!)

No Forks Needed!

ArmyNavy gives the quirkiest names and interesting stories behind their products' names.

Freedom Fries (P65.00)

Freedom fries reminds me of KFC french fries, only thinner and crispier. I love the zesty and slightly spicy flavor of this one.

Burger (P155.00) + Cheese (P30.00)
All burgers are made with natural beef patties, topped with fresh, crispy lettuce, tomato slices and onions, mayo and ketchup on toasted Sesame Seed Kaiser Bun.

This is one of their "regular" burgers, but the thick beef patty is very juicy! (Instant favorite!) I seldom eat vegetables, but the crisp, fresh lettuce was a welcome addition to the burger. I like my burgers with cheese, and since this one had none in it, we had to order it as an add-on.

Chicken Burrito (P165.00)
Flour tortilla filled with meat, Spanish rice, beans, onions, lettuce and cilantro. Served with salsa and a slice of lime.

The first time I ever tried a burrito was in ArmyNavy, and while I initially thought that it looked like a snack, I was so wrong. The burrito might not look big, but look what's packed inside! It's a heavy rice and chicken meal, and I had a hard time finishing the entire thing, but it was good!

Okay, now I'm craving for another big burger from ArmyNavy. Who else is?

Love,
Helen
