Summer Is More Fun With Northern Living

My short writeup got featured in Northen Living's April 2012 issue. I'm so happy and I get all giddy when I see myself in a magazine. Even if it's just a small corner in the page, I appreciate it very much and am thankful for the Northern Living team because they included my thoughts in their magazine.

Northern Living April 2012

The question was "summer is more fun in metro north because _____". I've lived in nowhere else but Quezon City since birth, so I knew then and there what to say!

Summer is more fun in the metro north because even if we don't get out of the city, there are lots of things to do! We've got some of the biggest malls so there's endless shopping, lots of great restaurants (especially those in quaint ones in Maginhawa Street and Banawe in QC), and fun, down-to-earth, and friendly people. I've lived in the North all my life, and I wouldn't trade this place, all hustle and bustle included, for the world.

If you want to get featured too in Northern Living, just keep posting your thoughts in their Facebook page. :)

Love,
Helen

  4. Congrats on getting featured!

Well, summer's just as fun in the Metro South (Alabang girl here!). Just like the north, there's lots of fun even if you don't go to the city. There's endless shopping at the malls and plenty of great food in lovely restaurants and at the Soderno bazaar.

Also, I've noticed South girls have this summery, relax vibe to them all year round.

    LOL! Di papatalo ang South!
