Belo Essentials SunExpert Face Cover SPF40

Ever tried samples that were so good, they convinced you to buy the full-sized version of the product? For me, Belo Essentials SunExpert Face Cover SPF40 is one of the unexpectedly good products that I have recently tried. I got this mini tube from a magazine a few months ago. Since I am wary about trying out new products, I initially just planned to use this for my body. My curiosity finally led me to use this all over my face. Since I'm not getting any younger, I have to take care of my skin more than ever by using sunblock to prevent premature skin aging.

This product has SPF 40 PA+++, which is perfect for everyday use. (I like sunscreens with SPF of this range, since I find those with SPF 100+ exaggerated plus with a lot more chemicals than what we really need, but that's just my personal preference.) It is non-sticky, hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, dermatologist tested, and fragrance-free, which is almost everything I look for in a face care product. I am not fond of face creams with strong fragrances since they almost always make me sneeze, but this one is literally free from any scent.

Upon application, the product is easily absorbed, and it feels very light on my skin. The texture of this sunblock is not a heavy cream, but more like a gel-cream since it's very light. I use this in the morning after I wash my face, and it serves as my moisturizer/sunblock/makeup base. It dries clear and leaves no white cast unlike other sunblocks. It also works very well with my BB Cream. I got zero breakouts or allergies from this product, which was a relief since my skin is pretty sensitive and oily. And if you're curious on whether this left my skin oilier than usual? No it didn't! (Which is why I'm liking it so much.)

My mini tube is about to get used up after almost 3 weeks of regular use, and I'm repurchasing this for sure. Belo Essentials SunExpert Face Cover SPF40 is available in leading department stores and drugstores for only P299.75 (50ml).

      This is the first Belo product I tried, and yes, it's an awesome one! Glad that it comes with a trusted name, but with an affordable price. :)

    I love that it's so affordable, mild and non greasy! Belo did right with this product. I got the sample from that issue too. :P

      Belo has another version of this, specifically for the body. It has SPF 60, in a bigger-sized yellow bottle like this. :D
