Careline Oil Control Blush-on in Peach Glow

April is here, and we've got a long vacation weekend coming. While you all might be excited to head to the beach, don't forget to bring sunblock! I'm not sure yet if my family will be going to the beach this weekend (and I am praying and crossing my fingers that it will push thru). I decided to check the makeup I'll be taking along with me, and here's one of them. With the skin tone I have, I don't know if I can pull off the bronzed look using bronzers. Because of that, I choose to use peach blush to help me achieve that beach-babe flush!

I think that when shopping for blush, it does not necessarily have to be expensive. As long as you choose the right formula for your skin type and the right shade, you can look like a blushing beauty without putting a dent on your wallets. I have oily skin, so I like using powder blush since it helps minimize the shine by absorbing excess oil. One thing I am loving right now is this Careline Oil Control Blush-on in Peach Glow. I really did not pay much attention to local cosmetic brands until recently, and I am thankful I finally did.

Careline Oil Control Blush-on in Peach Glow

About the product:

Ingredients:

The packaging of this product is simple - just like a powder compact sans mirror. It's lightweight but not flimsy at all. It also has a little puff which you can use as applicator. The puff is soft, and it's better than those useless little brushes that comes along with other blushes. However, I still prefer using my big fluffy brush to apply this one on.

This blush contains Vitamin E for healthy, moisturized skin. It has a natural, matte finish. The shade is really brighter than the picture I have below, but my camera won't capture the real shade. (But it's close enough.)

Overall, I am liking this product a lot! It's cheap but it did not cause me any breakouts, which is a major plus. I can layer in on and it still won't make me look like a clown (as opposed to pink or reddish blushes). Since I have uneven skin tone, I still have to wear base (like BB cream or liquid foundation) under the blush to make it pop, but on very lazy days, pressed powder and this blush will do. It instantly gives my face a warm, healthy, peachy glow. I think the texture is just right, not too chalky. Depending on the shade you'll get, you'd see that the blushes from this range can go from natural to pigmented (especially for the darker shades). Peach Glow is more on the natural side.

Careline Oil Control Blush-On is available in 7 shades, for only P80.00 a pop. They're very accessible too; they're available almost everywhere. I've seen these in department stores, supermarkets, and even drugstores. For its price, you can collect as many shades as you want without feeling guilty!

    1. Starlight Shine and/or Fresh Tomato could work for morena skin tone. It's best to check out their counters so you can see which shade you like best. :)

    1. Hello Vanessa! Thank you for visiting my blog! Hehe :D
I'm not really sure if this shade will show up on morena skin, since it's quite light. Landmark has lots of cheap but soft brushes! You have to choose wisely though, as sometimes they also have scratchy ones. The soft ones go out of stock really fast. :P

    1. Sorry, I don't have Starlight Shine in my stash right now. :O I don't think it will suit my skintone since the shade is quite deep.

  12. Is peachy glow a bit glittery? 'cause I like blushes with a hint of glitters on them.
