Etude House Haul: Skincare

I used up my makeup remover to the last drop just the other day, and my Etude House Yogurt Peel Cleansing Foam is about to run out, so I had to restock on skincare products. It was early in the morning, 10AM to be exact, and I was already at the mall! I had to go early because I get easily stressed by crowds and I want to avoid that since it was a sale weekend. These stuff I bought weren't on sale though.

Happy Teatime Cleansing Cream
(I won't be reviewing these anymore since I already have one for Aloe Tea.)

Happy Teatime Cleansing Cream in Milk Tea

This one is for my sister. This variant does not smell like milk tea. I was expecting it to smell a bit sweet and yummy, but it had a clean, powdery scent to it. The reason why it's called Milk Tea is because it has Milk Protein in its ingredients, which softens and moisturizes the skin.

Ingredients:

Happy Teatime Cleansing Cream in Lemon Tea

Since I loved my previous facial wash, I got this variant. Plus, I did not have a choice since only 2 variants (Milk Tea and Lemon Tea) of Cleansing Cream were available in store that day. I don't know if that's a permanent thing or whether the other variants were just out of stock. I though that the only difference between this and the Milk Tea variant would be the scent and one main ingredient (like milk extract for Milk Tea and lemon extract for Lemon Tea), but I saw that the list of ingredients was longer, so I had to see the difference between the two.

Ingredients:

This variant has Lemon Fruit Extract, Grapefruit Extract, Banana Fruit Extract, Calcium, Magnesium, and Zinc.
Whereas, the Milk Tea variant has Milk Protein.

I also like this scent better since it smells fresh and fruity. Again, not like dish-washing liquid so do not worry.

Happy Teatime Cleansing Foam in Green Tea
(I won't be reviewing this anymore since I already have one for Lemon Tea.)

Truth to be told, I am still having second thoughts on whether I should have gotten Peach Tea instead. (I think it's because of Peach Tea's pinkish packaging that just lures me.) I was (and still am) nursing a cold during the time I bought this so my sense of smell was not cooperating well. Eventually I got Green Tea just because it had a milder scent, which would probably mean less fragrance. And, Green Tea has antioxidants! Oh, I don't know. There's always a next time!

Because I bought more than P500.00, I was entitled to a GWP! I got this Pearl Extract sheet mask (worth P58.00) for free. Can't wait to use it!

I did not bother using my Belle De Jour Free Gift Upgrade coupon this time around, since I would just get a pen (GWP for P1,000.00 purchase) instead of a face mask (GWP for P500.00 purchase). I like the face mask better!

How was your weekend? Any haul posts? Link them back to me and I shall read them! :)

Love,
Helen

  1. Save the coupon for P2000 purchase, you would get a GWP for 3,000.00 purchase and the gift you would get is worth it. : )

  3. I used the BDJ coupon to get the shinee diary. I never get to spend more than 1,800 on one buy anyway. By the way, I broke out like crazy when I used the pearl mask. bummer! But I love their aloe and vitamin C mask. :)

    1. The Shinee diary is way better than the pen right! :) Good thing you have the BDJ coupon. I don't spend beyond a thousand here since all I get from EH are the skincare basics like cleanser which is pretty affordable. Oh no, I hope I don't break out with the pearl mask. :O

  4. last time I was there, they gave me the pen too (i begged and begged for them to just give me the mask but to no avail. lol) I'm not sure why the pen is at 1k, there's nothing special about it except for the design - which doubles as a bookmarker, i think. lol :D #justvisiting! :)

  7. Hi Helen!

I've been frequenting your blog recently since my inner kikay (who's been dead for decades) has awakened. haha.

I stepped inside etude house for the very first time yesterday. I was intrigued with your product reviews. Buti na lang! They have a lot of beauty products, and reasonable priced too!

Thanks for the tips ha, keep 'em coming!

    1. Hello Kwala!

Awww! Thank you! That means a lot to me. :) I'm glad and giddy all over knowing that someone has recently unleashed her inner kikay. It's never and it will never be too late to have fun with beauty stuff.

Like you, I love how broad the range of Etude House products, and how reasonable the prices are. But their bestsellers are almost always out of stock, so when you see something you really like, grab it ASAP. :)

Thank you for reading! I'm glad to have helped!

      Love,
      Helen
