Godiva Natural Skincare: For White Skin That Lasts

Whitening products are very popular in the Philippines, but the problem with most whitening products is that once you stop using it, you go back to your original skin color. Godiva answers that concern with products that deliver white skin that lasts.

I remember seeing Godiva on the store shelves during my younger (high school-ish) years, and then suddenly, they disappeared from the market. Now, they're back with a better formula, a new packaging, and with more promising results. Godiva Natural Skincare range uses the proven power of licorice, one of nature's most effective skin whiteners, in effectively and safely whitening the skin.

Godiva Natural Skincare

Licorice root extract and its active ingredient called glabridin, is widely recognized worldwide as the potent, naturally-derived whitening ingredient. Glabridin inhibits the production of melanin and nourishes and protects the skin due to its antioxidant and antimicrobial properties.

The licorice extract used in Godiva Natural Skincare has passed various clinical trials and is guaranteed safe and effective for use in skin whitening, anti-blemish, and skin lightening even for long periods of time. Because of this, Godiva Natural Skincare delivers whiter skin that lasts.

Godiva Natural Skincare range is composed of these effective products to make your daily skin care ritual:

Godiva LicoWhite Whitening Soap (P30.00/65g, P60.00/135g)

Godiva LicoWhite Whitening Soap cleanses and whitens as it evens out skin discolorations. A gentle, non-drying cleanser enriched with Glabridin from licorice for brighter, fairer skin. It has high levels of whitening ingredients for faster results.

Godiva LicoWhite Whitening Facial Wash (P5.00/6ml sachet, P75.00/50ml)

Godiva LicoWhite Whitening Facial Wash has Glabridin from licorice that helps brighten skin as it cleanses. Its low-foaming, soap-free formula moisturizes while it gently and thoroughly cleanses the skin, leaving it with a softer, smoother glow. Effective for all skin types.

Godiva LicoWhite Whitening Facial Toner (P55.00/60ml, P85.00/100ml)

Godiva LicoWhite Whitening Facial Toner is the whiter way to even out your skin tone. It moisturizes as it cleanses and is ideal for normal to dry skin.

Godiva LicoWhite Whitening Facial Cream (P10.00/6ml sachet, P110.00/40g)

Godiva LicoWhite Whitening Facial Cream helps even out skin discolorations caused by age, scarring, pregnancy or overexposure to the sun. It is 100% fragrance-free.

Godiva LicoWhite Whitening Anti-Perspirant Deodorant (P8.00/4ml sachet, P79.00/40ml)

Godiva LicoWhite Whitening Anti-Perspirant Deodorant contains Glabridin from licorice. It has high levels of whitening ingredients to lighten dark underarms faster.

All Godiva Natural Skincare products are safe for continued use for longer-lasting whiter skin. These products are widely available in South Mindanao and selected SM Department Stores, SM Supermarkets, Save More, and Watsons Stores nationwide.

OMG Flavors: Oreo, Chips Ahoy! and More

When I met up with my favorite friends from high school early this month, we bonded over (wholesome) drinks (AKA milk tea!) and a potluck dinner over at my friend's house, just like the old times. :D

And then, after dinner, I discovered my friend's stash of sweets - with unique flavors that will make you say OMG! :D

Cool Mint Creme and Berry Burst Ice Cream Oreos

Cool Mint Creme Oreo

I love anything mint, this one is no exception! :D

Berry Burst Ice Cream Oreo

This one is different from the Strawberry Oreo we have in the supermarket. This one's Strawberry Ice Cream Oreo, similar to the limited edition Blueberry Ice Cream Oreo we had a few years back - the one with the cooling sensation!

Goody Gulp Strawberry Milk Drink

No, this one is not from my friend's room, but I figured that it would go well with the Berry Burst Ice Cream Oreo. Pink overload! :D

Goody Gulp Milk Drink is made from New Zealand milk, and is a natural source of calcium, vitamins, and minerals. The best part is that it contains no preservatives! It also comes in a chocolate variant with SpongeBob SquarePants on the packaging. You can find Goody Gulp in Robinsons Supermarket, Puregold, Rustans, Shopwise, 7-11, MiniStop, Chams, Metro Gaisano, Landmark, South Supermarket, Tropical Hut, and Ever Supermarket.

Chewy Chips Ahoy! with Reese's Chocolate

It may not look that appetizing on the photo (sorry about that!), but this is one of the best variants of Chips Ahoy! I've tried. Reese's instantly makes everything better. ♥

Reese's Pieces

Just like M&M's, only there's peanut butter inside!

Biscocho Haus Butterscotch

This one was from my friend who currently lives in Iloilo. Butterscotch is one of Iloilo's specialties, and this pack was emptied in just one sitting, so I couldn't agree more. Haha!

Assorted chocolates and teas I hoarded from my friend! (Thank you!) :D

I called this "my loot from the event"! Hahaha!

And since were currently on the topic of tea, here's more!

Pickwick Teas

These were from my former colleague. My favorite would have to be Peppermint!

Twinings Infusions

Here's my latest obsession - not really tea, but fruity and herbal infusions from Twinings! These smell sooo good, and I love that it's caffeine free, so I can enjoy "tea" time, anytime! Next time I drop by Landmark Supermarket, I'm getting a whole box of Twinings Infusions in Raspberry & Echinacea! (New favorite!) :D

Helen

Etude House Princess Academy

Hello Princesses!

I still haven't gotten over my super fun weekend at the Etude House Princess Academy! This event was Etude House's gift back to its loyal customers, by giving them a treat that only princesses deserve.

Etude House definitely meant every word. Everyone who had an invite also had a tiara.♥

Etude Playhouse Princes Academy invites Princesses to come out and play!

This event was held last July 27-28, 2013, at SM North EDSA The Block Atrium. I've been to the Etude House Playhouse Pink Fair last year and I loved it, hence I had to attend this one, rain or shine! This year was even more special though, as I was now invited by Etude House Philippines! Thank you so much for having me! ♥

My Etude House Princess Academy Ticket

Let's start with DAY 1!

Mirror Mirror

Upon entering the venue, Princesses could have a free makeover, to prepare themselves for the shoot over at the...

Pink Photobooth

...which I wouldn't miss for the world. This is one of my favorite pictures from the event! Go figure. :D

Beside the Pink Photobooth was a Gwiyomi booth, where you could do the Gwiyomi song + gestures, all recorded on video. Since I don't consider myself as cute, I decided to skip this one. Haha! This little girl however, could do the Gwiyomi all day. She's adorable!

Now on to the games, where lots of fun and loads of prizes await!

Kiss The Prince

This was the only game I skipped! Haha! Poor Min Ho has already been over-kissed! :-*

Sweetie's Spin

I got 2 spins since I was able to answer the Etude House trivia question correctly. Yey! This automatically became my favorite game since it was so easy - just spin the roulette and win. :D

Style Me Up

For girls who want to be SHINee's Dream Princess, Etude House created an adorable signature perfume line of MiniME Be My Princess! This game was like a magnetic puzzle where you had to connect the accessory, head, and body of the MiniME Be My Princess perfume.

Here's mine! So cute! :D

Here's even cuter Andy with her MiniME Be My Princess perfume!

Bowling Nails

Because I was weak, I wasn't able to knock down a single pin! (I came back the next day and promised myself to knock them all down! Well, I still wasn't able to stike, but some of them fell and I eventually won a prize!)

Treasure Room

Ah, the game with the biggest prizes. Ms. Andrea gave me a tip, which was to play this game as you could win as much as 5 full-sized products (if you manage to open the 5 locked treasure chests in 60 seconds)! WOW! :D I only got to open 1 on the first day, and 2 on the 2nd day, so that makes 3 prizes! :D

Here's Kim trying our her luck in the Treasure Room.

Say Hello to Betsy, Etude House's royal car, which is also my dream car. This is what Helen would look like if she were to transform into a car! Check out those lashes!

Ms. Andrea Amado, President of Etude House Philippines, gave a wonderful opening speech which inspired each and every one of us to always feel like Princesses. :D The host of the event was Carla Humphries. There were also celebrity guests and speakers, such as Divine Lee, Robi Domingo, Megan Young, and more!

Erika, Ms. Andrea, and I - all wearing princess tiaras!

My event buddies for Day 1 - beauty bloggers Andy and Kim!
(Girls, I think we have another picture like this from another event!) :D

When the Princesses grow hungry from all the activities, sweet pink treats are served!

Strawberry Macarons from Tous les Jours

Pink Heart Shaped Cookies from Tous les Jours

Strawberry Cola

Pink Cotton Candy

More celebrities, spotted!

Carla Humphries & Robi Domingo

With Megan Young (so gorgeous!)

Day 1: View from the top

After the program was finished, I left the venue with a happy heart. :D I then dropped by Etude House on the 3rd floor of SM The Block to buy something, which was also where I shot this picture. Haul post (haul, prizes, and new products from Etude House) will be up soon! ;)

And now, DAY 2:

I was informed that there will be even more participants on Day 2, since other tickets that were released were only valid on the second day. Mine was valid for 2 days - hence I could play games and visit all the booths again, for the last time. I had to make the most out of it. :D

I arrived a little before 1PM (gotta love being an early bird!), and was able to take pictures before the people came pouring in.

This time, I was able to take shots of the nice and friendly people who were manning the game booths. I played again, of course! I was able to finish all games early, which was a good thing since the lines became crazy long at around 1:30PM.

With Carizza

With Dawn and Marge - Day  2 buddies!

I saw more beauty bloggers during the second day of the event, but realized that I wasn't able to take pictures with them using my camera! :P

Ms. Andrea, once again giving opening remarks to all Princesses

The crowd at Day 2! :O

Day 2 was another day of fun, games, learning, plus celebrity sightings!

Coleen Garcia (so perfect!)

Bret Jackson, an ex-PBB housemate who will be appearing in the movie Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo? together with Kim Chiu and Xian Lim

Bianca Valerio, was also the makeup artist/host during the Tony Moly CC Cream Launch. Boy, does she know a lot about CC creams! :D

This time around, she introduced to us Etude House Skin Polishing CC Cream, with the benefit of makeup + skincare to tone up your skin with 8 amazing benefits.

A member of the audience was chosen as a model for the makeup demo using Etude House's newest products.

I wasn't able to stay until the end of the program since my family was already ready to go home after hours of hanging out in the mall (while I was at the event). :P

Day 1 & Day 2 - Mission Accomplished!

So there goes my Etude House Princess Academy experience. I will unveil my haul on my next post. Soo excited for that! :D

If you were able to go to the Etude House Princess Academy, do drop a comment or send me a link, I would love to read all about them too!

Thank you so much, Etude House Philippines! I was at the peak of my Princess dreams last weekend, all thanks to you! :)

Love,
Helen
