Human Nature Flagship Store Launch

When I found out that Human Nature was launching their very first flagship store, I was beyond ecstatic. Even though I order online (because it's so convenient), I was still curious on how the store would look like. Human Nature launched its very first flagship store last month in Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City, just beside their head office. Human Nature's new store is your one-stop shop for everything that's good, natural, and all-Filipino.

During the event, we were given an introduction on how Human Nature came to be. The owners were in the US and they noticed the trend of natural and organic products, but with expensive prices. And when they looked at the list of ingredients, they realized that almost everything listed there are readily available in the Philippines, like coconut products, as an example. After tons of research, a social enterprise was born, where every single ingredient, up to the packaging and the label is sourced locally. Human Nature is pro-Philippines (by supporting our local farmers and suppliers even when it's sometimes cheaper to source from abroad), pro-poor (farmers are given the chance to cultivate other crops aside from rice, which would mean more income for them), and pro-environment (since all Human Nature products are natural and free from harmful chemicals and preservatives, which may seep back to our water and soil).

Last March 1, I was invited to Human Nature's event for bloggers. It's so nice to meet people who share the same likes and passions, and all of us had love for Human Nature products!

This is the facade of the newly-opened store. Parking is available so that won't be a problem.

Just like before, free-flowing coffee is available for all! Customers can enjoy their steaming cup of locally-grown brewed coffee like barako, mountain blends, and Sulu coffee anytime of the day.

There's even a children's area where kids could hang out, play, and meet new friends while you shop.

The new store's interior is very nice, cozy, and bright! I particularly loved the tree trunk shelves and the lighting. The store is well-stocked and organized, so you can shop to your heart's content. Now you can hoard and spread the Human Nature goodness to your family and friends, but of course, do leave some for us! :D

Aside from having your favorite natural and organic personal care products, the store also has this area for Center for Social Innovation, where Filipino social enterprises showcase their world-class ideas.

These were the healthy food that were served during the blogger event. Most of these are organic, and came from Gawad Kalinga's Enchanted Farm. I've seen pictures of the Enchanted Farm and was amazed with the richness of our land. The place is just beautiful, and I would love to pay them a visit if given the chance.

Hors d'oeuvres made with watermelons, mangoes, and Gourmet Keso

Gourmet Keso spring rolls with spring onion and pesto

Healthy Wrap made with organic lettuce from the Enchanted Farm and Hamlet meat products (organic pork)

Organic lettuce wraps with Golden Egg, tomatoes, and onions

Burgers with Hamlet meat products (organic pork)

FilBambu: all food containing bamboo, winners in the Shanghai Expo

Enchantea: healthy, detoxifying iced tea from Gawad Kalinga Enchanted Farm (my personal favorite because it tastes so good!)

Café de Sug: Gawad Kalinga’s famous coffee from Sulu - only for the brave!

Golden Eggs: salted eggs, a Filipino favorite, without the toxic food color

Bags and sandals from Filbamboo

Theo & Philo Chocolates: the only 100% bean to bar Filipino artisan chocolate

At the event, I met fellow bloggers Ruth, I, Jessa, Paul, and Eva.

We were given FilBambu products to take home and share with our loved ones. My family loved these and they were surprised that it did not taste like bamboo (or plant) at all.

Aside from that, the attendees were given a P500 GC and a Theo & Philo chocolate bar! I got one in Milk Chocolate with Barako Coffee.

I just ran out of Human Nature's shampoo and conditioner at home, so for 2 days I temporarily went back to my old chemical shampoo, and boy, did my hair go from wavy and bouncy to stiff and flyaway. Only Human Nature hair care products showed love to my wavy hair by enhancing its natural texture. I'm so in love with it, and I am excited to try out their Natural Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner. I also restocked on the Natural Feminine Wash since we're halfway through with our second big bottle at home. The Peppermint Lip Balm is for my little sister, because I saw her use petroleum jelly for her chapped lips and skin, and I confiscated it from her! >:) I gave her Human Nature's lip balm instead, and nows she brings it with her everywhere she goes.

Do drop by Human Nature's new store, located at 460 Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City.

Love,
Helen
