Cutie Haul from Daiso & Caboodle Box

As of last weekend, I've amassed a bevy of cute stuff which I am compelled to share with you all! :D

Every time I walk into Daiso, it's so hard to leave empty-handed! I'm no shopaholic, but they have a way of creating a need which you never knew you had, until you see their displays. (Anyone else who can relate to this?)

Daiso Hello Kitty Oil Blotting Sheets (P88.00 -> P25.00 each)

How cute are these! The paper sheets are printed with Hello Kitty or Little Twin Stars. And they're original Sanrio products - only on crazy sale! ♥ (Got this from Daiso in Robinsons Magnolia. The rest of the Daiso items below are from their Trinoma branch.)

Daiso Hello Kitty Hankies (P88.00 -> P25.00 each)

I couldn't resist getting these cute hankies for my niece! She loves Hello Kitty as much as I do. :3

Daiso Minnie Mouse Hair Clips (P88.00)

The ribbons "stand" when clipped. This one's also for my cute little niece! :D I love spoiling her with little surprises. There's also another version of this, Daisy Duck in pink and purple!

Daiso Apple Cutter & Mango Cutter (P88.00 each)

Because I loved how legit Daiso's Corn Cutter is, I promised myself to get their other "cutters". Haha! These are probably my favorite buys from Daiso. They're so freakin' amazing and fun to use! :D

4/13/15 UPDATE: As expected, the Apple Cutter is legit, amazing, and sooo fun to use. I don't like apples that much, but I am motivated to eat some just for the sake of using this Apple Cutter. ♥

The Mango Cutter also works, but the outcome isn't as perfect and smooth as the Apple Cutter, since it's hard to locate the position of the mango's seed. Need more practice!

Daiso Crystal Food Picks (P88.00 -> P44.00)

The cutest food picks I've seen! I justify my purchase by telling myself that I can use these picks with the fruits sliced by my apple and mango cutters. Harhar!

Daiso Spray Bottle (P88.00)

I wanted to buy a regular atomizer from Landmark to water my tiny Chrysanthemum flowers with, but this fancy bottle (which resembled the pumpkin turned carriage from Cinderella) looks way better on display. This one's also available in brown.

Tip: The first bottle I bought had a defective pump, but I had it replaced the next day. If you're planning to buy, better test it first in-store.

This cute little bucket of Chrysanthemum flowers were given to me last weekend by...secret. Haha :3 You know I don't talk much about my personal life here, but I'm happy. :D This one's sooo cute, just like having a tiny garden on the palm of your hand. What's unique is that the flowers close into buds when you water them, but re-open after a few hours. These are said to last for 10 years, as long as you water them twice a day. Guys, I'll update you on that, okay? Haha :D One thing's for sure though, they do last longer than conventional bouquets that wilt after 3 days.

My favorite online store of cute things, Caboodle Box, was at a bazaar last weekend in Trinoma. This weekend, they'll be at Blue Bay Walk! :D I got a set of pens for my little sister, and a set of stamps for me! The "For You" stamp was a GWP. Very useful, as recommended by Jenny (who owns the store). Her genius tip was to just use a brown paper bag as gift wrapper, and stamp on "For You", DONE! Saves your time, your money, and the environment as well. Go the extra mile by using the alphabet stamps to spell your recipient's name. :D

Last but not the least are some cute and unique finds from Landmark!

Panda Coin Purse

This one's also a cute gift. :3 It's white, and I want to keep it that way, so I'm delaying its use 'til my current coin purse gives up. Call me hoarder!

Coconut Delight Oreo (P40.00)

I spotted this roll of Coconut Delight Oreo from Landmark Supermarket at Trinoma. Yay or nay? :D

This ends my cute stuff haul post. Care to share with me which one your favorite is? :D

Love,
Helen

  4. I never leave Daiso empty-handed. I just wish they had more crafting stuff. An aunt visiting from the US gifted me with US-Daiso-bought knitting needles, but we don't have those here. :(

  9. When we are at Fisher Mall, I saw colorful plastic stirrers at the Japan Store. You should get it to compliment your food toothpicks :P
